Loved seeing your pictures and all the memorabilia. New she’d looks great. We have never had any issues storing firewood inside the garage either. Nice dry wood whenever you need it. Like the way you use the Wraith even when at home.

Nice shed and garden plot. Once it’s all planted, you could park the RV outside near the garden, then it would rain ( your famous for bringing the rain!) and water in the plantings! 😉😉😂😂 Great video!

We just had an 8x10 shed delivered last August. Well worth the price if you can pay for them in full. When I did the math there was only a $340 difference between building it myself or having them to do it and deliver it.

Yeah we really didn't want to build it ourselves and this one is built like a house! Love the metal roof and everything it has to offer at that price. Free delivery and leveling too

That's exactly why we didn't get a bigger one haha it was bought specifically for lawn/garden and firewood haha we have plenty of garage space otherwise and trash gets picked up once a week for everything else LOL

We had a wooden storage shed that we had to tear down because of termites. Replaced it with a plastic shed on a platform made from treated lumber rated for groung contact. I get the heebie geebies with firewood and untreated wood nearby.

We have the space set out for the firewood, we will be building a rack too but we will have plenty of room because everything that's in the shed currently is pretty much all that's going on there

I built a wooden ramp for my shed but after 5 years the wood rotted out even though it was treated wood. I made a new ramp out of dirt and put 16 inch red pavers on it. I'm sure this new ramp will outlast me. Your home base sure is a nice set up.

Thanks it's a pretty great home base! The ramp is doing its job but there's no telling if it'll stand the test of time. Might have to redo it down the road with something similar to what you did.

Nice barn. Dang those Fitchs just ignore the sign and pull right in. Same ramp I installed on ours. I built my own barn in 2014 16x16 with a 4 foot porch for $3500. If I built that today it would cost more like $7500

Couldn't agree more! I lived in a farm but we weren't allowed to take animals to the fair doing that was a bummer to us as kids but there was a lot of us kids😂 so I did pretty much everything else

Beautiful barn, and 10X16 is a great size I think. Was just shopping that size yesterday and it was priced right at $5000 tax included. It was the regular utility roof and not the lofted barn style, Derksen brand. That custard cake looks fantastic btw.

Yeah very similar pricing. We had a few additions but we got free delivery!😁 so far we are loving that size. And the cake was delicious, next time I'll add more lemon🍋

We really downsized when we moved to this place because we thought we were going full time so a ton went into trash and storage. Then when we found this place and plans changed, we just put the things that were in storage in this garage. We are now going through it another time and putting into bins. Haha we are pretty much finished and have leftover empty bins😁 and more space to spare. We just wanted to garages to be tidy... Even though everything could have fit in there🤦🏼♀️ lol

What bread are you puppies? We’re starting out our camping life this summer with a lab pitty mix and are afraid camp grounds won’t let her in. We also have two ankle bitters but we’re not worried about them.

Guy is a basenji, terrier, setter mix. He is listed at a basenji mix. Piper is a boxer Pitt mix and she's listed as a boxer mix. Just omit the Pitt part and say lab mix and you'll be fine as long as the dog is well behaved. And if places are very restrictive we just don't go there because breed restrictions in themselves are dumb but private parks might have them due to insurance requirements. State parks and places like that don't restrict that we've seen.

Mike had gray hair before we got married but just not as much, granted he was 26 when we got married haha I was a teenager in 4-H so I didn't know Mike and his dirty clothes yet😂 The ramp doesn't fold up, no hinge just not plywood to bridge the top of the 2x4. Congrats on the impending new rig pick up!

I am 60 and live in New England and want to retire. I have an old house on 17 acers and a realtor just told me what its worth. I'm shocked! I'm gonna sell and retire now! I'm thinking of buying property in Tennessee and putting up a metal building for a home base and getting a class c to live and travel in. Just me and my dog. Should I do a home base or sell everything is my problem. I want a home base and can afford it now. Do you guys have any regrets? I'm excited and afraid. Any advise?

We definitely recommend a home base and we don't have any regrets choosing this as our homebase! It's the perfect setup for us. You can travel and still have a place to stay while in the area, and our family is in the area so that helps. Just do it! 😁
