I'd suggest 10-15% of soap and the remainder being water in the foam cannon reservoir. It will still make foam/suds like crazy (and won't be so difficult to rinse). And yes it's crazy how you can just blast a wall of foam onto your RV. I too use a Maguire's carnauba wash and wax soap on my RV and vehicles.

The Chemical Guys foam gun uses a regular hose connection. And you only fill the soap up about 1/4 of the way and the rest with water. Works great

Great video. Welcome to foam cannon club. I use Chemical Guys foam products. They always have specials pricing. Try their foam with wax built in. I do the same process as you demonstrated, but to rinse, I remove the cannon and put my regular wand back on with a white tip. Stand back from the vehicle about 6 feet and spray clean water at an angle to the surface, so as to prevent damaging your paint or stripping your vinyl decals off. Always keep the wand moving. It will greatly reduce your rinse time.

Looks great. Suggestion…. I did the same as you and filled the container up with soap. After first wash I read the directions(type guy). It says to use dilute 10-15%soap with warm water. Did that once or twice then just used hose water. Way easier to get the soap off but just as much suds…

On most Foam Canons, you add 1-4 oz soap, fill container with water. Makes great foam, that clings. Let it sit few minutes, then scrub or rinse. More appropriate soap mix in canon will be easier to rinse and still have heavy thick foam.

I agree with all the above comments with two additions: 1) I never use a brush on my 2023 Phaeton per Tiffen recs. I only use a "Merry Moppins" pad to avoid scratching the paint. 2) I run my hose water through my portable water softener and then through my Deionized filter for zero PPM dissolved solids. Then I just walk away with zero water spots to remove. You don't need to do any hand drying.

The brush was brand new and we only use the super soft ones. We don't hand dry because it rains every trip we take so water spots are inevitable

That white tank on your washer is for soap. You have a soap dispenser nozzle also. I have a similar washer and put soap in mine using that nozzle which does foam up. Not as foamy as what you bought tho. Thanks for the washing show!

The cannon has 0 instructions with it so we just filled it up and turned it on max because we wanted a lot of foam. We tried it on min soap and didn't like how much water was there

Hey guys! That soap is a concentrate, the label on the bottle should have instructions on the ratio to dilute with a foam canon.

There are 0 instructions with the cannon. The pressure washer adds the water and we wanted it to be extra foamy so we turned it to max. If you keep it at min. It's a lot less sudsy

I use a product called Adam's. They are out of Colorado. Same spray bottle but you add a few ounces of product in and fill rest with water.

Less soap in foam cannon container then the rest fill with water. Wash one side at a time, then use pressure washer to rinse off. It will go real fast. Last recommendation is get a IR filter system to run all water through it will help the soap work better less scrubbing. Once rinsed off no water spots…

What is the pressure output of the cannon like? I always learnt to not use a pressure washer on an RV but this looks like it would be awesome on my Jayco Eagle 5th wheel for washing.

Our RV is painted so it can be washed the same as your car/truck. If you have decals that are stickers, that's when you should use caution. The spray angle can be changed so I would think it wouldn't hurt any RV

Oreily’s has cheap soaps. More aggressive for when it is bad, vs daily washing. Take the gun off and just use a regular tip to rinse. 4oz of soap to 14oz of water

I've got the same HF foam cannon, as long as you put soft water to it it can't be beat. It is better on my gas PW v my electric unit. You know, I've got a combine that needs washed (and planter, 3 tractors, semi...) and you seem to have so much fun doing it..... as long as Mikey DOESN"T wear a speedo I'd let you have free hookups and all the washing you want ;) Just because I like ya I'd even throw in a free 12 pack, lol.
