"Festina lente" means, "make haste slowly", in case anyone's wondering.

BGM, I enjoy watching how far you have come with your bus career and your property. You sure have amassed some cool equipment! I love seeing them work. Great job!

The steering wheel both tilts and telescopes and the drivers seat can be infinitely adjusted including up and down. The point being that you can find a combination that allows viewing the gauge. The problem with a Wanderlodge is the NUMBER of gauges! Love your content and the amazing journey you’ve taken from the traveling repairs to building a great shop and homestead.

In our firehouse we have yellow painted lines on the floor to guide you coming inside. It makes pulling inside the house much easier.

It actually won’t. We are rarely pulling them in straight.

That is really interesting! And no wonder one of the blades of the ceiling fans is missing.

Thank you Scott, I love ❤ the video! Great information for setting idle speed!!
@josephalberta11459 сағат бұрын
I was told to avoid using low idle on my series 60 as its very bad for the engine and it keeps the oil pressure too low. My high idle is 1200.
@SuperMAZ00710 сағат бұрын
Could the issue with not seeing the temp gauge could be solved by butting a little pit smaller diameter steering wheel. Maybe?
@sidgysoho19609 сағат бұрын
How about just relocate the gage depending on the type it is ?
@SuperMAZ0078 сағат бұрын
@sidgysoho1960 unless the wire harness is such that it dose not allow to relocate? Other solution would be a second set of gauges ontop the excisting panel, hooked parakel to the main cluster?

I wouldn't want to have to climb Mt. Washington, located in New Hampshire, with this bus!

20:58 - Is there any chance at all that the critical guages can be moved from top to bottom and vice versa? I see someone else commented that a combo of seat height and wheel position could be tried. Failing those, I would put an aftermarket guage/ guages in a visible spot, and appearance be damned. Edit : this way one could choose the style of guage they liked (even digital) and perhaps the aftermarket guage could be a combo of needle and idiot light. Edit#2 ha two seconds later you suggested a swap😂. I still like the idea of aftermarket.

Put a on smaller steering wheel so you can see the gages. :)

Fabricating a water temp gauge on top of the dash might be a good idea.

At a minimum they need nerf blades blades on those fans!
