It must have been great fun being one of the architects of this magnificent museum structure! It seems, no expense barred. The architects & designers thought of everything spacious.

I thought precisely the same thing. Then I remembered it was a palace. Let me add that I have never been there. Now with the help of Wikipedia I have just learned it was the Royal Palace before the more famous Versailles Palace started being used in the 17th century. This panoramic walk along visit is a fantastic way to know the Museum without leaving your own house. Amazing what the new technologies can provide us, especially when we are spending most of our free time indoors due to the novel virus. Better days will come. Greetings from a Portuguese who has been to Charles de Gaulle Airport but not to Paris.

I really enjoyed your walking tour of The Louvre as I was able to re-live my visit in 2014 and you did all the walking for me. Besides seeing the Mona Lisa the painting I remember seeing the most was a very large painting of the coronation of Napoleon with The Pope in the background. The painting as enormous and done with such realism that I thought I was in the audience. From St. Louis

Gracias por mostrarnos este video, esta segunda parte contiene los sectores del museo que por tiempo no pude recorrer. Thank you for show us this video. In my visit to Louvre Museum I couldn't go to everywhere and this second part have this places.
The sarcophagus room broke me. Imagine thinking your final resting place would be protected and remain, just to be put on display like this.

To think how many of these Egyptian antiquities were made and used as regular every day things thousands of years ago and now preserved in a museum today. Its mind boggling. It does me me wonder. In 4000 years, what will be shown in museums like this...?
