Wang chuqin doesn't look like a dominant player. Despite being number one, he is so inconsistent against European players. That's the reason why he lost to truls moregard in the Olympics. He is not learning from his mistakes. Try to go wide to force that forehand is his inherent mistake now

Seems like he lost his confidence since losing to ma long in the world cup. He was meant to win that match since : Wang beat ma long dominately 4:0 a year prior, he should of progressed while ma long should of dropped. Wang also dominated fan zhendong 4:0 in the WTT Finals Men Doha 2023 only to somehow lose to ma long in the world cup. He dropped from the current most dominate player to a top 5 or 10 player.

@@epic1053 may be he played too attacking at some points where ball was not long enough to attack and played defensive backhands when it was there to be attacked.

Wang Chuqin is getting more beatable by the day. He only has one style of play and players are beginning to crack the code especially after Ma Long's victory 4-0.

When a non Chinese player esp an European win against a CHinese player, it is as though they won the world cup or championship. It is a temporary reprieve for sure. At the next hurdle, he will be knock out

Wang Chuqin was really struggling with the serves and and the ones he got back on the table were often with low quality. I think Anders made them swallow their own medicine (hiding some serves).

WCQ is still getting used to his new racket. Still has not recovered from that incident. Broken blade from olympics is not an excuse anymore. He did it again. China won all 5 gold medals in table tennis. Every one of the 40 gold medalists of China are rewarded with more than 2 million US$ each. To poach away a Chinese champion seems impossible 😅

Wang chuqin is not so legal too, some shots he use his body to hide the paddle, some shots he toss and hit the ball in the table(too forward)(not sure if its just a camera ankle).

True for wang chuquin too ofc…but he hides them the subtile way, very difficult for an umpire sitting in lateral to the table to call them out….but Anders backwards toss is so evident! Hence my comment ….cheers

Anders use antispin rubber n half lifespin, like sandwin rubber but i not sure what the True rubber Anders used it hahahahahaha i just look character i was know it 😂😂😂😂😂
