Another tip that works great for when nothing seems like it looks good: have a "panic outfit". One that's comfortable and that in your normal headspace you feel great in and/or get complimented on a lot. Mine is a specific sweater and pants that look good with most jackets and shoes I own.

Yes! I have this for parties, I have a great velvet jumpsuit that I can just always where whenever I go to a party, let's say christmas at my parents.

They don’t make good seamless bras in my size and it really does affect how my clothes look - underwear is so important!

I don’t know where you shop for bras but i can’t find many my size at department stores or the mall. I have to go to a specialty shop and pay big prices. I save up because a good fitting bra is worth it. The bras shop is also nowhere near my house.

I bought the sloggi version of the uniqlo bra but it is only for small cup sizes. My chest ends up grouped together unflattering and if i bend over they almost fall out the front. A basic t-shirt bra in nude works better for big ones

I will say that the benefit of dressing like a little old lady already in my 30s is that underwear lines are never a problem. I wear men's boxer shorts or bike shorts, no one's able to tell with these skirts anyway. I could theoretically wear frilly pantaloons, the problem is finding a pair.

the uniqlo bra does look awesome! If they had a shade in between the nude and brown colors then that would be amazing for the brown and tan girlies 😭

I mean, can’t go wrong with blush, white, brown and a black bra. Only one of these comes close to my skin color, but they all have helped…plus two in my favorite/most commonly worn colors. (You’d be surprised but the burgundy bra with a low cut blazer/jacket- perfection- oh the burgundy straps are showing on a sleeveless or off shoulder shirt? Oh no that’s part of the shirt cause the shirt has that exact same shade lol. Ii use all of them - minus the one that’s close to my skin color- as sports bras too. If you make them all match your skin- it ruins that dual purpose in my opinion.

I don’t think it matters as long as it’s close enough… under a nice quality white tank top it wouldn’t show unless it’s almost transparent

Figure out your outfit the night before even if you're tired. You'll be in a better frame of mind to put the outfit together than in the morning when you have a time limit. And once you've got the outfit on in the morning, you may end up changing 1 item, but it won't matter as you have the bulk of the outfit done. Best advice I ever got- lay out your outfit the night before, NOT the morning.

Really? I always thought that the shorts format is absolutely atrocious garbage. If I had known she made long form videos I wouldn't have bothered with the shorts. Actually, I'll probably stop watching them now that the algorithm has caught up and is serving her longer videos to me.

OMG..I love the bra from uniqlo!! I love that it has the slit for removing the padding..due to cancer, I had a mastectomy and need to insert a prosthetic. It is so hard to find bras that allow that unless they come from a special store and I HAVE NEVER found a seamless one. That is a PERFECT COLOR TOO!!! I am getting one as soon as the store opens !!!!! THANK YOU!!!

I just had a mastectomy with flat closure and was wondering what sort of bra to use if I really wanted prosthetics. I’m fine with padding but I noticed I now need 2 pads making it a bit thick and odd. Thanks for mentioning your situation so I can look into their bras! ❤

After decades of buying colorful, often floral and lacy, pretty and sexy underwear, I decided to go with only nude and black, all no-show, silk undies and bras. They are all I ever need for light or dark colored outfits, respectively, and the comfort, daintiness and freshness of silk is incredible (silk doesn’t cause or pick up odors). I love Lily Silk’s seamless, pull-on bras for most days (similar to the one you show, but no irritating polyester; one-size, but I wouldn’t buy if larger than me, a 34D). Eliminating lingerie with strong colors, patterns and seams really simplified getting dressed for me. After all, I’m single again, and no one sees me in sexy lingerie anyway, except me. Comfort is always top priority, I’m sick of bras that dig in and panties that ride up! (And allergic to polyester). The riding-up problem is because they make undies cut diagonally across the buttocks nowadays, not straight along the bottom of them, as they did in my youth, when even string bikini panties stayed comfortably in place. Yes, they look sexy, but after taking two steps, they’re up the cleft! (The most polite word I could think of for this body feature).

You popping out with one of my "The pandemic ruined me for regular bras" style bras at the 2-ish minute mark brought me so much joy, lol. Not the right bra for every outfit, of course, but so nice for certain items. I'm also such a fan of silicone pasties. Edit: Also, seriously, can we normalize wearing stockings again? Save your ankles from shoes cutting into them.

I agree x100 on rotating through seasonal wardrobes. You can find all kinds of under-the-bed and other storage solutions that work well even if you live in a teeny condo with limited closet space. I'd also recommend organizing your clothes by type, e.g., all the blouses together, then all the skirts, pants etc. Then within the clothing type organize them by colour, from lightest to darkest. My closet re-org only took me half a day and it's a breeze to put outfits together compared to my old stuff-it-in-anywhere "system."

Ha lately I've been feeling sacrilegious thinking about how much i suddenly miss nylons and stockings. I'm really fond of Leo's convertible dance "tights". they're just the bomb, pantyhose but better, and they have the option of being footless if you decide you want that. I got hooked on them doing theater, btw, which is a treasure trove of garment and makeup knowledge. In the 90's you could still get a pair of Givenchy silk pantyhose at the department stores for a reasonable price. God how I loved them! Silk stockings are a marvel. The exploding awareness of good fabrics, cuts and workmanship is really joyous to see. Same thing with fragrance btw ❤

I use seamless pants, all cotton with just about 5% or less of elastan from Intimissimi, they are in black and nude.

So first two tips not useful for people who need support from their underwear. 😂 My girlfriend loves her Uniqlo bras but their limited sizing range does NOT work for me. I realised this about the underwear a long time ago but it just lead to me getting stressed limiting what I could wear that day according to which bras were clean and available. Buying duplicates of seamless basics sounds like a great idea.

I really just wanted to read how many other people went, "Aww" at the bra thing. Awesome that it works for you. Sucks the industry doesn't find it pertinent to consider humans who have large chests. My Triple letter scores are not fitting into anything our host so lucky to be able to utilize.

Love your videos. How do you wash these types of bras? I bought one very similar to the one in the video, and it seems almost impossible for the bra to retain the same shape after a wash

I wash mine in a zippered, mesh lingerie/laundry bag. It keeps it from rubbing up against your other clothing and getting snagged and it keeps it from getting stretched out and misshapen.

I have a walk-in closet but mine is organized by temperature. It makes choosing easier because I am only looking at a small slice at any given time and I know every other item is automatically eliminated.

I feel like those wireless bras & those sticky bra pads only work for smaller busts/cup sizes Also in the days where I could actually go braless (I.e. pre having kids), I’d much sooner opt for nipple pasties than those awful pads. Less stickiness sweatiness etc.

Chiming in as a rando with a similar underwear closet. If it were me, I'd probably try the pasties since that eliminates the "straps" dilemma. Obviously not ideal if you need more support. I have a similar bra to the one she shows, and it's not great for anything low-cut or wide-necked, either. It likes to play peek-a-boo in a way that a more traditional cup shape and thinner straps wouldn't. Still nice for a lot of tops, but I have a nude wireless bra with a more traditional shape for when I want to show a hint of cleavage but don't want to go with the pasties.

just a fun fact to any one looking to donate clothes, some hospitals accept clothes so that they can give out to trauma victims whose clothes are no longer able to be worn. Of course, there needs to be a quality check and all, but it's another option so you can know where your clothes are.

My butt eats any underwear that's not a thong, leaving a big bunch 🤷🏼‍♀️. If you're the same, buy lace hip thongs at LEAST one size bigger than you think you need and they will be comfortable and invisible.

I hate how manu times ive bought seamless panties and forgot to chrck the crotch only to find out its not cotton :( Thats begging for a yeast infection. Why would anyone make them like that??? Always 100% cotton crotch!
