So there’s some missing dialogue skipped from Nia. He’s not just helping Lurker fail the others. He’s an outright mole. Since he’s a food runner he can rat out any regular that has used the service from his restaurant. That’s what he’s been doing for years. Nia was serving last meals.

Oh that's how they found out where Wangnan lives. Now it makes sense that he shows up just as the loan sharks are about to leave in ep 1. Totally forgot about that.

Wangnan speech at the bathroom in the webtoon was something like " someone told me that the god guys aren't the ones to beat the bad guys but the worse guys" It's supposed to tie to the whole circle of violence theme We saw a glimpse of viole pondering about this topic too

It's so weird that Augusgus says that "Ja Wangnan has passed, as FUG wishes." In the Webtoon he just says "the prince has passed, as FUG wishes." deliberately making it vague so you have to guess who he actually means by "The Prince." If it wasn't already obvious ; Augusgus the test administrator actually works for FUG, and proctor Love has no idea.

Yeah. It should have made people guessing. There is 3 people who might fit as Prince. BAM(cause he is MC), Ja Wagnan(cause he relate to Jahad), and a literal character named Prince 😅

Augusgus did say the prince has passed, but the translator put "Ja Wangnan" instead of "the prince". Not like the translator is wrong since both have the same meaning, I dont see the problem here

@@raviel9501 it's still a big mystery who the actual Prince of Jahad is. Mistranslation is a problem since it can lead to misunderstanding. If the author wanted to clear all doubts he could have made Gugus say : "Ja wangnan passed." but the Author kept it ambiguous for a reason. I wish they followed the original script.

Horyang's "Let me show you the devil in my right arm" panel in the webtoon went quite hard ngl, I like how the anime kept it as close as what was shown in the webtoon. Also in reference to how Kim Lurker introduced Robdevil as the "Devil's right arm" back in ep 2. Also, I think they kinda didn't show how Wangnan actually swapped the remotes which was why they all passed in the first place. Viole was just like "Hm, okay good spectacle but I'll just pass by myself" then it was announced that the group including him passed instead. Wangnan actually pulled off some Hollywood acting making Viole think the remote he received was the original from Love. Additionally shown how Wangnan grabbed his remote before going to Viole after Kim Lurker's call. Idk why they kinda brushed that off but it shows some of Wangnan's character. While writing this, I just noticed how there are a LOT of changes in the events when I checked the webtoon wth.

It could be argued that Baam knew he swapped it and went with it, because the webtoon devoted panels to show Baam staring at it for a while.

So, Just letting the obvious be known now. Bam has what I call "The masochist's sharingan". Basically, if he is hit by a shinsu attack once, he can copy it. Those 8 passed becase Wangnan tricked Bam, giving him the connector that would steal Bam's room for his team. Horyang is the real devil of the right arm, that Robdevil was a fake using the tittle.

@@bluestReacts Technically, the rules are an indication, as Love said that Bam would pass and be able to take the next test alone if he caught that connector and used it on his room's remote. Wangnan took advantage of it and switched the connectors. Love even warns that Wangnan will fail if Viole gets the connector.

@@renatoramos8834My interpretation without the webtoon explanation is that Bam had a change of heart after this and decided to join rather than fail them. Technically he could have joined them at his will by pushing the button for that right?

Submerged Fish is Yu Hansung's nickname, just like the name of his divine sea fish he used against Lo Po Bia Ren on the Season 1.

This episode was slightly better than Ep 3, but I was still disappointed with the amount of key dialogue that was skipped. 1. First and foremost, Wangnan actually tricked Viole at the end of the game. When he handed the remote, he slipped in his chip into the remote, which made it so Bam chose to climb with teammates. I genuinely have no clue why the anime would not explain that. 2. When Love defeated Viole, and told him he lost, before Wangnan barged in, he actually admitted to Viole that he was abusing his power as a ranker and he feels ashamed for making Viola play a game that was virtually unwinnable, thus Love gives Viole one last offer. If he swears to leave FUG and choose teammates, then Love will let Viole pass. This moment is what made Love one of my favorite characters in TOG, and it shatters my heart they cut it out. 3. Also, another impactful moment that was cut out. After Wangnan barged in to Love and Viole's game and started ranting about the Tower being evil and manipulative, we get a close up shot on Viole listening to his rants, and then we get a panel of Hwaryun...watching from a video feed. It reveals that she has been watching/monitoring Viole this entire time. That paralled to Wangnan's rants that everything in the Tower is set up or has strings being pulled somewhere by someone 4. Agugus in the manhwa does NOT say Wangnan passed the test. He just says "The Prince passed" making it ambiguous whether he is referring Wangnan, Viole, or even purple-haired Prince. I am genuinely pissed the anime just ruined the mystery. The manhwa to this day still has not revealed who the Prince is, so the anime is actually going against the author's vision, which pisses me off. If I were you, I'd recommend ignoring that subtitle text. Again, this episode was a step-up from last episode, but so many key moments being omitted prevented this episode from being phenomenonal

Yes you are right the anime just ruined the mystery. But it ended the debate wangnan is the prince or bam is the prince. But i also don't understand what fug has to do with ja wangnan

Point 4.... I think they made the right choice here... I don't agree that they went against SIU's vision at all. Rather they focused on something Mahnwa readers has brushed it of for many years. Fug wanting wangnan to pass....why? It's still a mystery We Mahnwa readers actually know that agusgus was talking about wangnan here. We know that he's one of the prince's of jahad It's not mystery anymore.... The mystery that is intact till day is.... Who among them is real prince of jahad? The fact that this question is asked so many times means.... There's only one real prince of jahad For anime only's it's still mystery who the real prince of jahad is? Or if wangnan even is the prince? The only thing anime made clear here... Which I am glad they cuz people have brushed it of for many years despite its being revealed that wangnan is the prince They made it clear that fug or someone from fug wanted wangnan to pass here.

If Wangnan and his team lost in the room game, they would fail the test and the other team would automatically become Bam's team. Basically there were two tests happening at the same time. Bam had to either get the remote fast and win on his own or defeat the other regulars to make sure there are no ppl he can make team with. Bam of course decided to go for the remote. Whoch is what surprised other regulars in ep 3 and 4 where they mentioned why Bam didn't just kill them if he is supposed to be the bad guy. On the other hand if Bam can't get the remote from examiner fast enough, the room winning team automatically become his teammates. If no team wins the rooms and Bam just fails his own game, then he would have to pick his 7 teammates. So if Wangnan's team lost fast enough, the other team automatically wins.

This episode imo was better paced then ep 2-3 especially episode 3 which I felt was cut a lot and had awakened pacing. The pacing in this episode was great and as a manwha reader had some of my favorite dialogue/speeches it was so hyping seeing it in action

I actually rechecked the webtoon and this episode actually had the most changes, skips, and cut dialogues. Well at least they fit all the key moments as this sequence easily could've lasted two episodes instead.

I have to preface this comment by saying that I think this episode is a significant downgrade from the webtoon. The pacing was too rushed, and they didn’t properly explain what was happening. 1:39 This makes Yihwa look so dumb, opening her door for a stranger. In the webtoon, Prince tricked her into drinking a parasite-spiked drink. 5:48 Not really a complaint but a notable change- in the webtoon, Lurker didn’t just punch Nia. He was implied to be literally carving up his insides. 7:34 The entire fight between Love and Bam in the anime paint them as less skilled than they are. I would honestly urge you to read this part in the webtoon, the fight is much cooler there, and Wangnan’s interference made more sense. 10:34 You might have missed the full meaning of this scene. (This is not a spoiler because this was shown in the webtoon, in this scene) Remember that they were earlier talking about a Devil of the Right Arm that was famous for defeating Hatz. So yeah, that was Horyang. Robdevil is an impersonator. 15:13 You are correct that Bam joined Wangnan’s team, but the anime neglected to explain that Wangnan tricked him into it. Bam thought Wangnan handed him the connector Love had (which would allow him to win the game and move on his own), but what Wangnan gave him was the connector for his room. So Bam joined Wangnan’s team instead. 15:55 There isn’t actually a spoiler here. The senior test administrator was just glad that Viole formed a team, which is what they wanted in the first place. 16:13 I honestly think the anime screwed this up. In the webtoon, Augusgus says “The prince of Jahad has passed”, leaving it ambiguous whether they were referring to Bam or Wangnan. Despite my complaints about this episode, I am excited to see Khun again!
