A little hug or kiss would have been perfect for the untamed/CQL but we can change it and in the end it´s what makes it special and keeps the fans hooked to them.:)

I was recommended this video a couple weeks ago. Not really paying attention to what I was clicking, I randomly selected it, and it was one of the best choices I made on a whim ever. Even though I had never watched or heard of The Untamed, this video completely entranced me. Despite not knowing any of the story, I could feel the pain the characters were feeling and the deep love they had for one another, just by how well edited the video was. I searched the show up immediately,, read the original book, and here I am now, having just finished all of the drama. Watching this after all of that feels like coming full circle- It's amazing, how works like this touch people in different ways. I don't know if you'll even see this, but thank you- for making this video and introducing me and countless others to The Untamed.

To be honest i never understood this drama when i watched it for the first time because in order to understand this you have to observe each and every minute expression of all the characters, its as if no character is less important. After 2 years I came across this fmv and decided to start this drama again and trust me i have never regretted watching the drama again and observing things carefully... Truly speaking it shouldn't be recommended to people who are searching for non-depth and drama filled with explicit scenes. I believe the untamed is really meaningful even though it doesnt have explicit scenes of main characters....

I'm a crazy Korean drama fan. Never watched Chinese dramas especially the historical ones. My sister watched it and pestered me to watch it too. I started watching it very reluctantly. Now I've finished re watching it a dozen times, search for all these fan videos, bought the novel, finished that as well. Started reading fanfiction too. I'm unable to look beyond untamed and these two characters. This serial has raised the bar so high, I can't find even Korean dramas that can compare to it. Never would have thought I will ship bl. Only just discovered and I am hypnotized. Untamed is a must see. And to think I almost dismissed , as fantasy not my favorite genre and didn’t know what to expect of drama based on a BL novel. The stories are profound and rich. The actors who play Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji brilliantly portray the depth of their love. Without a single romantic scene, it is the most beautiful, most romantic film I have ever seen. It has me laughing, contemplating good and evil, and a sobbing mess. Kudos to all!

It had me laughing like a maniac at the start, thinking what even is right and wrong in the middle and had me crying when thinking about their sufferings too. The actors Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo really showed the depth of their each character's emotions and thinking. Fantastic script with excellent actors that equates to a masterpiece to marvel at! I watched the live action first then I watched the chibi version then I went straight to the donghua and then I read the manhua. I was so disappointed at that they were unfinished and didn't give me the answer I wanted which leaved me no choice but to go straight to the novel where it was uncensored and showed what they didn't allowed in all of that. I was happy that Lan Wanji and Wei Wuxian got what they deserved which was each other. After that I realized that they each represented something. They all represented all mixed emotions. I'm happy that I was introduced the drama.

This is my nth round of watching the whole drama and watching FMVs of Yizhan/Wangxian:)))) No drama, no BL drama or any other drama, no matter how good it is or no matter how much it touches my heart or how much I like it, can replace or overtop the place/position of Untamed and Wangxian/Yizhan cp in my heart. They just have a miraculous existence, I don't know how to describe it too. I am not the kind of cp fan who ships the real actors, I mainly ship the characters and like the chosen actors portraying the actors (loyal fan of WYB), but they are irreplaceable and forever number one, and a perfect/divine choice made my the creators, whether it is the novel writers or the directors, to make this story and to choose the actors. :)

The male actors chosen to play this couple were absolutely perfect. Weiying with his hypnotising smile and sense of justice for the underdogs and Lan Shan with his quiet, stoic, supportive personality. Even though Lan Shan said he had regrets for not standing by Weiying’s side during the big battle, he really did since he defended a lot of attacks against Weiying. He did more for him than Weiying’s brother who let jealousy influence his attitude towards Wuxian. I wish these two main couple had more screen time together because they were really magical together. Love the BTS clips too showing how much more playful they were with each other.

Hello! I don't know if you are ever going to see this but I have watched this video countless times and cried over Wangxian. I have never seen a song so beautifully matched for any piece of fiction. I can feel the soul of these characters transcend our screens and touch my heart every time I watch this video. I think you should watch 2gether The Series because that show has been helping me fill the void The Untamed left me with. While they are in no way similar, I found the joy of watching two characters fall in love once again. I come back to this video every other day and it still makes me cry. It's almost as if this song was made for them. I saw this series during the start of 2021 and now we are in the middle of 2022 and I'm still not over it and i don't think i ever can. I recently bought the first volume of the novel and I am currently saving up to buy the second one.. This series has a really strong grip on me like none before. I have never in my life been attached to a series more than this, usually after watching a series I totally forget how the series and plot played out, but I still remember every little detail of this series.. You know, I really appreciate you for this edit. when i watched this show, i didn’t cry once. now even when WX died. i just felt sadness only. i’ve seen so many fan edits, happy sad funny, but this edit really got to me. The part where WX died, i teared up and cried. this is the first time i cried over this show. this edit, this song really touched me and let me look at their love with a different perspective. it really touched my heart and i’m actually crying and i usually don’t cry over most movies or shows even if it’s super sad. thank you so much for this edit. especially from an international who doesn’t understand chinese and the language barrier is so difficult, this song and this edit really goes together. Perfect edit. I come back to it often. The song just fits perfectly with them. Wei Ying feeling as though he's a burden who only brings pain and that he has no one left who cares about him, and Lan Zhan catching his arm as he falls off the cliff to essentially say the words of the song "you are not alone, I've been here the whole time".
