It's uncanny. The first time I ever beat RE0 (first time I ever beat a classic RE game) I played through the night during a sleepover. The adrenal panic of the final boss faded during the credits, giving way to a tired but satisfied feeling. The 9 hour marathon of puzzles and restarts finally ended, I leaned back from the results screen and noticed that the entire room was blue--lit by the early glow of a winter sunrise, leaking in around the blinds. The spirit of that moment, both the relaxed euphoria and the blue glow, are perfectly captured here.

In all honesty, the music from Resident Evil Save Room, the plot, the characters, and even the Resident Evil games that were deemed bad because they weren't what the fans wanted are interesting and good in their own right. In many ways, the music I'm listening to represents me; it makes me feel like I'm lost in a forest trying to find comfort in a world full of good and bad things. Listening to Resident Evil Save Music supports me and inspired me to become a film director, perhaps producing a good Resident Evil film. Also, this music helps me stay calm and sane. If you're looking for something to enhance the experience after loads of playthroughs, I've found that knife runs do fairly well. The first time I did a knife run for any of the classic RE games, it was some of the greatest tension in all my time playing computer games. I have great memories from all of them, but the best was CV:X, as I had only played the Dreamcast one once, maybe ten years prior to the knife run, so I didn't remember it almost whatsoever. My particular favourite moment was when I had no health items or saves and I knifed a sweeper. I looked on the map to plan my escape route but overshot the door, so I jumped into the pool and kept running, never dreaming I'd be taking this fecker down. I grabbed something in the water, hoping for a health item but it wasn't. I took a couple of claw swipes getting out of the pool again, and then remembered that hunters and sweepers have poor turning speed, and that they seem to jump in this extreme way when they get up or down between surfaces of differing heights, so I ran a few paces from the edge of the pool, and then backed up as it jumped to where I'd been, and thus over my head. I knifed its legs until it went down. It started to get up but I kept going. Just as it was about to take off my head, it fell down dead. So terrifying, haha.

haha, yeah, I meant to mention that they may find that story elsewhere on your channel. Good first question. I don't have a favourite but I've written extensively on this in the past. Like ten-page analyses...when I have a moment I'll find wherever this question gets posted and answer it. Also, may I take a moment to say I think it's amazing how RE fans connect. I _love_ other series, but never get to connect with strangers so quickly over it. After months helping people in Fallout New Vegas forums, I get recognition but not a real repoire. Also, we all have RE in our avatars. Some more obvious than others but all four of us have it somewhere. Great stuff altogether.

With this song sometimes i think on Resident Evil, but then i have some Silent Hill's feel, then I click this song again and i have some Dino Crisis feel, but today i feel some kind of Heaven! A Heaven full of nostalgia. One of my favorite ambient tracks of all time! 😎

Thanks Stephan! I hope it sounds ok on a car radio. My tracks never experienced any proper mastering, so they sound very different on different audio systems. And at least from my perspective, of all places cars are the ones where things tend to sound the worst.

It started in the mid 90s and early 2000s when my mom used to ignore me my entire life and feeling unworthy of her love, when i was child and my father used to beaten my mother in front me as 5 or 6 years old as child while he was drunk and she is always convinced me that i was never good enough for anyone or her while brother and half-nephew doing their thing to me as kid and teen you know?...I was never told amyone what happened to me until decades ago i was gathering my strength enough to open up my mother what happened to me as kid before 20 years she was starting acting like cold person by saying this that was my entire fault and i was feeling unworthy of her love. I always wanted her hug me, kisses me and telling me that i was worthy of her love. :) but unfortunely it didn't happened.....it really hurts me you know that my parents never cared or didn't want to hear my emotional pain that i was carrying that thing/weight 20 years ago, they never supported me in anything like emotionally or something like that or they will telling me that i was worthy of their love but they treated me like i was as a daughter-in-law and not a biological daughter who deserved their attention and I never got that from them and they convinced me that I was not good enough for them because I confided in my half-sister about my brother and half-nephew being all kinds of things to me worked and she pretended to support me, but she didn't at all, because she blamed me for it on Facebook 4 years ago, and my parents also blamed me because they and she went to defend their sons. So I had all kinds of suicidal ideas about how to take my own life so that I am completely gone and I confided in a character about my brother who threatened me with slaps and violence because he quickly reacted to that by calling the police or beating him up as a dead name as i got a relief because that character is older like my age, but that didn't happen because he stabbed me like my cousin and I was left completely alone in everything when he threatened to kill himself when I I told him that I confessed to my parents and he was angry about it like "Really, who did you tell someone about, you would rarely believe it in all this and that, but I trust you and we talked on the cell phone and I have my parents and you don't!" and I screamed at him "don't!" and so I felt helpless because that character ignored me completely and so this stupid character persuaded me to send him my naked photos on discord so that we could be in a relationship or start a relationship, I have no idea but he fucked me because of his girlfriend in which he fell in love with only to take me to bed thinking of her and thus he cheated on me for his ex-girlfriend also because that jerk wanted to kill himself and that pissed me off because I hated manipulation from him and because I was never taught that and that's it and so I was depressed and ignored for years that I took my own life and that's it and all because of him of course because he didn't want to help me or at least he wanted to give me advice on what to do in that situation but he screwed me over some his ex-girlfriends, and somehow that has already cost me a whole year of my life. I had him convince me that I was never good enough for him because that stupid character never wanted to invite me for ice cream, or to the movies or to play video games at his place or something like that because I was always jealous of his ten girls in his bed maybe and that's why I feel less valuable because that character is a manipulator and never loves me for who I am. That's unrequited love from him and from my parents :). I never get what i wanted is requited love from someone. :) This song is really hits me of my sad/tragic/difficult childhood. I was wanted to be feeling adopted and feeling loved by adoptive parents to show me care, love and support by them. :( This song is always stalked into my head that always reminds me that I have no family members, relatives, close friends or requited love from someone i never have ore had :)

Such a sad story. At first I hoped it probably wasn’t all true, but now I feel it is. You are a tough person for still being here, for still walking this earth. Where are you now? One day, you will overcome and conquer everything, including your past. So, in other words: you will conquer time itself.

@@SurvivalSpheres It always bothers me if someone sees me in aromantic or asexual way but not falling in love with me or gives me his requited love for me just because I was you know what happened to me as child in the past if I had crush or falling in love with him and he pushes me to the side constantly because of my past? and I always hated predujices and beliefs towards me I dont know if this is reflection of my worth? If this is true? Like this guy on discord? I really hope you can opened my eyes if this is not true btw your ambient music really helps me to cope with this and its beautiful creation, mystical sorrow attached this to your soul :) i was listened every ambient music based on videogames like past 4 years while I was in the bed while listening to this on the laptop every after launch during the covid time, earth quake and various disease in my country. Ambient music based on videogames it really helped me to forget to cruel and heartless world to remember small beautiful past from my childhood i had with my Cousin while we played videogames together. Thank you for amazing words, understanding my situation and I really hoped that you can opened my eyes if this isnt true like this guy on discord? Because this guy is so judgemental, hypocritical and toxic. Not giving me his support the way I need it full year ago. When I wanted started conversation with him on interest i like he completely ignored me like I was ghost or something and he always insulted me with his toxic vocabulary words on discord and his has diagnose something like bipolar narcisstic behavior to towards me and i feel really hurt and insulted after this for his insulting full year ago. Sory for long post because I feel it insulted and worthless because of him yesterday. because that character never showed me empathy towards me and never sympathized with me or wanted to feel my pain because he always put himself first and he always refers to himself as "Me, me and only me" something like Light Yagami level and that's that and that hurts me a lot. And he also insulted me because i reminded him of his ex-girlfriend and so thats why he wont falling in love with me so thats why i was deeply hurt about it :(. It for me would be better I should starting to having and opened up with my female therapist about my problems that I was spending 45 euros so iit's not cheap. And I dont have enough finacial possibities to move out my toxic parents household. And also you are great listener about my problems :) and I will always comeback to your channel listening to your ambient music based on videogames because I always loved Dino Crisis, Resident Evil and Silent Hill and others :).

@@royaljelly1722 I have a picture of the situation that you are stuck in. It is funny actually, that you are stuck I mean, because in reality you already know and see through everything. You understand how your past affects your present feelings, and why you are struggling with low self esteem that relies too much on the judgement of others. My advice is this: find your center first, and become stable. For example start working out, physical exercise, look into meditation, develop daily routines that you strictly follow. Maybe a diary for logging progress can help, too. Read books about philosophy, like for example about Stoicism. And stay connected to music that gives you strength and calm, like you already do. That is the only way out… so focus on yourself and become stronger. Mind and body are both connected, always remember. Therapist can help, but in the end it is you and only you. That guy from discord is nothing.
