Great video, thanks. I'm doing this route (ish) next Saturday. Looks like it might be a bit boggy, not sure my trail shoes are up to the job! And I'll definitely be walking that first steep uphill bit.

Wainwright says in his books that the cairn on the South of the wall, that you come to first is the Baystones summit, and what he classed as Wansfell. The one over the wall is a few metres lower. I’m doing this on Saturday as my 214th 😊 I followed your route for Grike, Crag Fell and Lank Rigg on Saturday - glorious weather and a great little run, so thank you for doing the video 😊
