How much power and torque would this make without methanol and on 93 only. And with 93 only would you the stock clutch handle it. I would be planning to use this car for road course use and beat on it a lot.

Totally different. Hard to compare. The stock clutch in the 6MT MKIV can handle more power than the 6MT MKV stock clutch.

Not at all! But yes, any flash tuning will require a femto unlock for Dme's on or after 06/20 production date.

It's a ZF 6 Sp, that Toyota rebuilt part of it. It'll feel like no other bmw transmission.

I’d say it depends on how much driving you do and if there’s a lot of traffic. I drove manual cars for years, just got tired of shifting. Gets old fast where as the ZF8HP transmission is awesome! Super fast shifts, you’ll need to test drive to know for sure tho. Depends on what you like

Either, I have the MT but you really can't go wrong with the ZF8. I will say, my buddy that had the AT said the driving dynamics of the car were completely different for the MT. He enjoyed my MT much more. In the end it's up to you, just ignore the MT circlejerk.

Toyota/BMW needs to put a better clutch in. I've seen jars of pickles that can handle more torque than them

If you are making that much jam, you can afford to upgrade the clutch at that point. Otherwise there's always poor man cars like a k20 civic

Ah the age old "if you can afford it you shouldnt complain" rebuttal. Does not excuse a manufacturing flaw in the slightest. Even Bugatti issues recalls @@SupraSav

I cannot name one single car or truck you can buy in manual that wouldn't require a clutch upgrade after doubling the output of the engine.. Lots of auto trans vehicles need upgraded clutches to do the same.. ie: 10spd mustangs ect.. almost any DCT.. ect ect..

@@Clutch_Kick187 its not doubling tho. These are 380 wheel torque from the factory and theyre going out at 500 wtq. Thats literally only a 25% increase in torque
