Just bought my supra a few months ago and the audio equalizer was a HUGE help! I love sound systems and good sound quality was one of the things I was missing from my old Lexus CT200h F-Sport S.E I drove before, and that equalizer helped it so much! High frequencies dont give me throbbing headaches anymore and its really nice compared to how it was before. Granted, the speakers are obviously hardware limited, but it still helped it out by miles. Never knew about the mirrors folding in by continuing to hold the lock button! Nice, thanks. As for the lack of a trunk button, It’s never once bothered me. Also have the stick on mirror pieces for buffeting. I’ve also increased the brightness of the infotainment screen dramatically with OBDlink CX. It also allowed the car to always start in Sport! Great video.

You change the setting for the mirrors to fold automatically when pushing the „close“-button the remote. You don‘t need to hold it longer for that.

Hopefully you fixed it but to go to the next song all you have to do is hit the scroll wheel. If all of the tracks only show in alphabetically order it's a function of the mp3 device that you are using. I run a Ipod on my usb stick and if I shuffle the songs then when I use the scroll wheel on the steering wheel it matches the list that displays on the display screen. Basically it is probably your mp3 storage device

I simply use the knobs to select any song on the usb. Also, the sound quality (especially bass) is better using the usb than satellite radio or FM.

The garage door opener problem is the light bulbs in your opener in the garage. They interfere with the signal. That's why the opener works from the street when you come home - the light bubs are off - but not when you are in the driveway - they are still on from opening the door. Look for "garage door opener bulbs" and they fix the problem.

Side note regarding the battery. All BMWs are the same. Never connect directly to the battery, always use the points in the engine bay. BMW have a battery monitoring system, if you try and connect directly to the battery you can really p*ss off the electrics in the car and even cause damage and major headaches down the road.

Depending upon model year; there are ever so slight difference between the Supra VS it’s sister BMW model. Start with the interior. Even if one wanted to somehow switch out the seats from one to the other, one would not fit the other. Technically there is a way to do it, but not with factory parts from either. The same with most of the rest of the trim. Move to the outer part of the car… Take the bumper covers, they are also not interchangeable between models. Here’s are the items that will really get you… Spec’s out Surpra brand new: less than $62,000. Brand new BMW, but really spec’d out: twenty thousand more. But the BMW has volumes of other options.. The most noticeable option (even to almost any consumer) is the paint work. Interior and trim (and interior electronic items) for the BMW is also volumes better. But is it really the added 20k?? And then there are the maintaince items on both, almost essential from the dealership. The Supra is by far the most expensive car in their entire line to maintain. Imagine the dealership cost difference between a Toyota to a BMW. The BMW will really, really get someone on their dealership labor rates. If one opts for that BMW, also try to make sure one adds in to the new vehicle price - the level four maintenance costs.

Bruh! This is a cool looking BMW. I was considering one until I saw Papadakis racing disassemble the engine. There's so much plastic in there that as that engine ages, everything is going to fall apart. Ask me how I know? I drive a 90's BMW with so much plastic that everything is falling apart an failing (e.g. thermostat housing, intake hose, radiator coolant pipe, glove box, radiator, etc.)

I believe you have some wheel spacers? Maybe? that fitment is nice👍 Tbh I drilled through the honeycomb Stock DP and noticeable power, better breathing on the turbo out the exhaust, soon as the turbo starts spooling she bites and just wants to fly sounds abit more aggressive keep in mind all stock components and no CEL just some fuel smell lingers or come towards you when stopping but other than that runs abit better than when you first 🥇 buy it

Man, after seeing the WRX in your garage, I felt too similar to your situation. Was thinking of either selling my WRX STI and purchasing a Supra or keeping both. I live in an area where AWD is required for winter driving so the Supra would be summer only. Do you find a good need to have both a WRX and a Supra?

@nikolayangelov7763 Loved the Supra, but it sat all winter. The WRX was a fabulous daily for snow. I had it for 7 years. I ended up selling both and getting a Nissan R35 GT-R that is AWD and could be year round, and a truck for the really bad days.

@nikolayangelov7763 GTR rev range takes longer to get to, but in R mode on the transmission, it's stupid fast. I put all season tires on and I'm driving it in Jan. I also didn't like how the Supra was so small. I felt like I was going to be smashed like a bug at any time, or spin out because of rear wheel drive. Do I miss the Supra? Absolutely. Is the GTR better? Absolutely.

Just got my supra two days ago, Wierd I have no wind Buffetting issue stock, there's nowind deflector or anything, maybe I'm not going fast enough but with the window all the way down cruising at 80km it has no buffeting, also how do you start up in sport mode? When I go and shut down the car and restart it, it always start up back in normal mode. Thanks

It's quick but the Supra will Destroy it, even when it was stock lol. Love em both. I see a lot of Subi folks moving to Supras. If you want something much more vicious, and don't mind a small car, it is amazing!

@@evlx14 have you tried putting the key in the car and holding it in the lock position to close the window? My 2006 g35 coupe if you hold the unlock button the windows come down and if you put the Key in the cylinder and turn it couple times and hold it in the lock position the windows go up

You didn't mention that if you disconnect the battery for a certain amount of time the auto transmission will lose its fluid pressure and not allow you to shift the transmission unless you go through the service portal under the car (at least that's what Scotty Kilmer noted recently).

Thanks for checking out the video! 🙌 I love both cars. A lot of WRX/STI owners went to Supras. The Supra is definitely a lot faster but you can't drive it in the winter. If you live in an area with cold temps/snow and the car is going to be your daily driver, that is something to consider. You can't beat the Subi's AWD. For good weather, the Supra is absolutely the best smiles per mile!
