Coach! These videos are a level up in your KZbin game, for sure. You look and sound very natural when you're analyzing the videos, and you get to the important points very easily. I always find something that I can apply to my own form. Keep'em coming!

It's just nice to see videos about how to actually bowl better get attention, rather than telling people to obsess over the extreme minutia of their ball layout, or other things which really aren't going to help people bowl better.
@ArtOfBowling2 жыл бұрын
thank you
@NobodyGotTimeForThat2 жыл бұрын
Believe it or not, your layout will depict how you need to roll the ball as he was explaining without going into detail. The pattern will depict the ball/layout needed, and the ball you're using will negate your line and type of release. Great vid!!

Just an update...Haven't perfected it but have been working on better timing and increased revs. My average is up 5 pins from last year and today entered my first ever USBC tournament. Entered the state seniors tourney. Started off with 290 then struggled to a 164 then followed that with a 279. The 290 and the 733 are my personal bests. Thanks for the help and advice!

Hi Art, I really enjoy your videos. I'm having a lot of issues getting to the next level of my game but your videos are helping. I'm working on simplifying my swing more and your information is great. Thank you and keep posting.

Thanks for being part of Team AOB, Michael. I’m so glad to hear you’re working to level up your game. Any area in particular you’d like to see me cover?
@michaelfrance77832 жыл бұрын
@@ArtOfBowling Thanks for the reply. My biggest issue is really late timing. I'm right handed and use a crossover step, but I think my late timing is causing me to have to push the ball out to the right on my backswing and loop the ball behind my back in order to avoid hitting my right leg during the backswing. It looks as though since I'm already starting my next to last step as the ball swings back I'm having to avoid hitting my leg. This causes a big loop in my swing leading to inconsistent direction and difficulty keeping my hand behind the ball at release. I average around 185 but feI could do much better if I could fix this long standing problem.

Thanks coach Arthur! One thing I noticed was last week I went back to my better shoes with swappable soles and I was able to slide a little more and felt much more comfortable. Rolled 209, 182, 268 and 234. I have tried to stay more behind the ball but struggle with it. Need to do more 1 step drills to get comfortable with it. Thanks again!

Dan informed me that he can’t use his right arm, and you can see his right leg seems to also be affected a little bit, so there isn’t much to advise him regarding that

Last year I saw a PWBA match where one of the competitors stuck her left arm straight out perpendicular to the lane. She did it on the approach before she started and maintained it during the shot. I didn't like it, but if it works...

If it's the bowler I think it is, I saw an interview where she was asked about that, she said that it was a drill that someone had her do, she said that it helped her so much that she just does it every strike shot.
