A good advice for both beginners and intermediate players. However, there is another catch, for the forehand shot, the thumb needs to run across the racket in order to act as a pivot to ensure that the racket rotation is secure.

oh i can understand what y mean. but some words make everyone mind foggy. big swing and full swing. the basic practices we did is full swing, sb called this big, or long. opposite to distances smash from net. pp must use full swing, because the muscle is not develope enough to short. time by time, when opponents is stronger, shutter is to fast and ability increase. they change to short swing to survice. not suitable for beginner, may cause serius dámage to body. the difficult is acceleration. you can begin slowly and soft but aceleration must increasing higher and higher then touch shutter then stop. light rasket but need more muscle

@donnyrocks81554 күн бұрын
While playing forehand sir. Bcoz the front finger will pressurise the thumb underneath at the final moment 😐. Because of repetitively doing that it even scratched the layer of skin at the spot. Can I prevent it?
@MechanicarspyКүн бұрын
I think you're experiencing that pain because you're holding the grip wrong or squeezing incorrectly, either the space between your fingers when you're holding the racket is too small or you're only squeezing with those 3 fingers when you should be squeezing with equal intensity on all 5 fingers. I've been competitively playing badminton for 5 years and I have never heard someone having this kind of problem when it's usually the wrist being in pain
