I bought one 2 years ago for a 5x3. Build pack is worth it just for the materials list, never mind the instructions. The waste from the materials list was hardly anything. Liams videos are also top notch and they have so many hints and tips. Have recently sold our house and gutted to be leaving it, definitely helped sell it. Thanks Liam

I purchased one 3 years ago and now I have a 8x4 garden room and workshop with a secret door made from cedar. All from build pack and videos. I didn’t even own a power tool when I started. Had a quote from builder stating it would cost at least 40k to reproduce. So go for it. If I can do it any one can. Cheers Liam.

I'm building my own garden room right now (just finished the foundations and base frame), after years of watching this and other channels. I have to say this channel has been one of the most informative and detailed of them all. These guys gave me the confidence to get off my arse and build mine.

It's true. I started watching your channel back in the early days for the enjoyment of it. Now I've got my very own 7x3 and I've had builders ask who I bought it from. I love the look I get back when I tell them I built it myself with no flat pack in sight! I easy saved closer to 60-70%. Liam is and always will be the pep talk you need to give it a go.

This KZbin channel and the build pack I bought was nothing short of life changing. I went from zero DIY experience to doing foundations, carpentry, doors and window fitting, first fix electrics, roofing, plasterboarding, plastering, cladding. Can't stop looking at my build. So so pleased with it. I got a garden room from Liams KZbin channel and build pack, but also I got a whole new set of skills I'll use for the rest of my life. Life changing.

The garden room instruction videos are very entertaining , and informative. I built my 5 /3.5 m room for my daughters beauty business by following liams videos to the letter . I’ve just got to clad the sides over the Summer break then it will be complete . I wish I could upload an image of it showing the lovely cedar frontage . Thanks Liam . Loving the Anex videos 👍

I never even owned a power tool until I bought your build pack this time last year. I watched all of your videos. I now have a 5x4 garden room, which I use for work and storage. I've learnt a lot in the last 12 months than any other time in my life. I've learnt about diy and more importantly about myself i e. how resilient, determined, and patient I can be . Thanks Liam😊

I was wondering if there was a workshop option, I've built a timber framed shed before using blocks for the base, but your system looks way better. I'm moving soon so need a new workshop where I mainly make props for amateur theatre shows. I want an insulated workshop as I plan on putting 3d printers in the workshop as well. Any advice welcome. Thanks.

people use them for all sorts mate, they are completely suitable for every thing tbh, the floor will carry gym weight type stuff no issues, and they are fully usable all year round, get your self on my Facebook group for self builders, ask the question and you'll not get any negative reply regarding them mate

Haven't watched the Oakwood channel for over a year and feel like I missed key episodes in soap opera ( not that I watch 'em ) . I've seen John on your Granny flat series but what happened to Jen ? Feel like I'm being reacquainted with an old friend catching up with the Granny Flat series though they're not coming quick enough so I'm watching them twice. Love watching your videos Liam , quality honest lad , fuck ups an all . Keep up the brilliant work.

Love your channel Liam. Quick question please: am I right in saying you don't double up on top plates? I see a few builders insisting on double top plates. Can you comment please? Thanks.
@thegardenroomguru7 ай бұрын
If you go by the book, then yes, but I'm saying definitely not, absolutely no need, and more timber means more thermal bridging and less insulation. On a two story, yes, on a garden room, It's a big fat NO from me mate

Hey Liam, I’ve watch Hrs upon Hrs of content & entered every competition. Best content out there, Pity you didn’t make it a paid for Subscription to your KZbin channel, not that I’m complaining but the amount of free content is unbelievable, and others have created businesses off your content & hard graft. Anyways I’m waffling, I purchased a build pack for 5.5m by 3.5 but I’m going to add an overhang or porch area. It’ll be an L shape. Can you do a Bespoke build pack for this? Cheers G

I am in the process of having a house built. Part of that dream is a garden room, The room will accommodate a workshop (wood) and an office. As a quick question would 9m x 3.5-4 be too much to ask for a build pack? I do not want to go down the road of separate structures, Cheers.
