I was embarrassed to say that I sometimes leave the flugel at home and play my Conn coprion with a Flugel mpc....glad to see there are others. Love that vintage Hoosier brass

Like the versatility of this horn. Now I know why some wanted one in the late 50's and early 60's if they could not afford the Constellation. Sound is fantastic no matter the genre. Thanks for the demo.

That horn sounds fine 👌. My best deal was a 1953 Ambassador trpt for $150. I leave it lay around for quick practice. Fantastic compression & built like a tank with a nice patina. I like the sound of your horn better though!

My best "deal" in my collection is Vincent Bach Stradivarius 72 MLV Vindabona trumpet. I have bought it very used from Czech Philharmonic orchestra where my father plays. I have bought it for 3500 Czk which is something about 165 USD. It doesnt look pretty but plays veeery good for that money haha. But i play on it sometimes only. Now i have ordered Taylor trumpet from UK and can't wait on it Anyway, thank you for your videos! Great job and great playin, Trent!))

Beautiful horn and , as always, great playing. I have a 1957 10B ( B was the trumpet model). Unique horn: sounds different with every mouthpiece. Usually used to blowing away on my ML & L bore horns, the feel of this .438 bore makes me measure out the air differently. Can't say how; the horn tells me when I get it right.

I own a Conn Victor A Long Cornet serial #628363 with a Coprion Bell

I have a Conn Director 18a coprion that I like. I would like to try some different mouthpieces in it. I also have a Conn Pan American Pioneer 1920 by the serial # , that is in awesome condition with the flat bead bell and silver plate. It plays well but is a real small bore, smaller than the director. What kind of mouth piece would it need? It has a no name deep cone mouthpiece almost as deep a a flugelhorn.
@Mikesukes Жыл бұрын
Paid about 125 for the Director and 50 for the Pioneer.

Could you play some more classical, or Arban when you play test? I love the jazz licks, but I'd like to hear maybe Haydn or Hummel

This is one of my own horns, not for sale.. so I'd prefer playing what I'd want on it. I do play more diverse clips on the stuff we sell and get where you're coming from.
