My favorite part is the transparency of the set back due to not getting regular trims. 🙏🏾🙌🏾 That is what I’m dealing with. I regularly shampoo and condition but not trim. 😢I’m going to restart the journey with a good trim or cut. I love your oil ❤and will reorder soon. Thank you

@mercygonoRN Hello Mercy! Really loving your videoss ❤ I just wanted to ask; What is your hair porosity? Is it low, medium or high porosity? Because, I'm wondering and I'm not sure of which exact natural hair products (for hair oils/serums, shampoos, leave-in and deep conditioners) to use on my natural hair. I have low hair porosity 😢

I did trim my hair last year many times and it has not grown back to full back length yet but I'm at it again this hear. That was more like a cut not a trim you got but of course it will grow back. I remember during your break up amd stress of losing your channel your hair had fallen off significantly but look how it's regrown. The people who said it won't grow again didn't know much about hair. Don't break yuh neck, gyol. Careful, now!😅

@@mercygonoRN You are Welcome mercy! Yes I am! I went through so much with my hair…breakage from not having enough time to handle my hair gently while doing it due to motherhood and other responsibilities, cutting my hair off multiple time due to postpartum depression and depression in general, excessive hair shedding since I moved to canada 3 years ago and the list goes on. I am finding myself again in a place where my hair is growing longer but is breaking at the same time which is causing thinning. And even though I know what to do as I have helped other women including myself grow their hair long and healthy, I am now doubting myself, wondering if I’ll ever be able to get my hair long and healthy. But I know hair grows no Matter what. So I have decided to keep pushing and try one more time. This time I have decided to keep my hair in twist, oil my scalp a couple of time weekly, spray with aloe Vera juice daily, deep condition 1 a week and wear head wraps to protect during the week. I have also started taking multi vitamins as I am Iron deficient. Hopefully my hair would have improved within the next 6 to 12 months.

Hi Mercy! I'm sure going to follow you on this beautiful hair journey. You don't have to worry about your hair growing back, i trust you to know exactly what you're about. It's not your first time. 😊❤ i believe indeed that most of us are afraid of cutting our hair because we're so fascinated about length than health, yet still we lose our hair one way or the other, we are sometimes so scared to do whats necessary yet we do neglectful things to our hair, which causes us to lose a lot of it in breakage at the end of the day. I'm guilty of that myself, so i'm speaking to myself. A big mistake i was making was leaving in my braids for way too long periods before combing again waiting on when my hairdresser gets the time to comb it, too tight braids , hairdresser combing out the hair with not wide enough teeth comb, washing it with the braids inside then when it's time to loose the braids i would lose patience and burst the hair a lot, which caused my hair to begin losing its thickness and length. A lot of negligence on my part mostly i would admit. However, i've decided to do better, in taking care of my hair, since it bothers me when my hair is unhealthy ...i'm so happy for this encouragement at this time . Thank you for sharing and opening up to us in such a beautiful and encouraging way.😊❤ i always believe that our hair is our pride and beauty, so it should matter to us. Whether we like it short or long we should desire healthy hair. ❤😊

I shed a fist full of hair last month. Recently found out my hair had patches of dandruff all over it😮. It was itchy and uncomfortable. I had been watching hair mask recipes on tiktok and youtube and decided to make one. It worked out good for a trial, hairs soft, less dandruff and not itchy. I noticed that most would wash with shampoo afterwards but i skipped it. Watched clips on tiktok about the haircare sections of stores and mega corporations using all sorts of chemicals in the products. Gonna make my own hair routine😊.

I understand all too well where you're coming from. Your hair will recover growing back healthy.

Why do some of these ppl not understand, HAIR GROWTH IS A CYCLE! If you cut it, it WILL GROW. If you don’t cut it, it WILL GROW. The only exception to that are ppl with severe health conditions. Hair LENGTH is based on growth AND RETENTION. Therefore, the best option was to cut off the split ends. Girl, you are better than me 😂. I wouldn’t be able to read foolish comments about how you would “regret” cutting your hair, as if it’s a one time thing 😂. I’m looking forward to seeing your healthy hair journey ❤.
