Driving Mobility is the national charity which accredits driving assessment centres across the UK. These offer professional support and advice to people who need to gain, or retain, the ability to drive following a diagnosis involving impairment or disability. In addition to adapted driving, centres provide information and guidance regarding accessible public transport and alternative solutions for personal mobility, such as mobility scooters and wheelchairs.
Driving Mobility has developed a simple, quick online questionnaire for elderly and disabled residents to complete so the charity can help shape the future provision of north east London accessible transport services. By giving up a small amount of your time, you will be helping to reduce loneliness and isolation as the charity can raise awareness of current services and build better support in the years to come.
