Dry fruits are highly nutritious, have good plant fats but loaded with calories. If you are weight conscious,limit it to just a handful.

183 is not very high though not within healthy range. Just increase energy expenditure through exercise or walk, 30 mins a day. Stop sugar/packed juices, soft drinks,alcohol,high fat and dairy items. Have more of fruits and fruits, veg salads, whole grains. You will be good in 4 weeks.

Stop all animal products including dairy, sugar and refined carbs like maida, breads biscuits toasts etc.. basically all packaged products for next three months. 30 min walk each day and more fiber (green veggies,whole drains like rajma,chhole,lobiya, all lentils/dals with chhilka) eat two meals a day and stop munching small meals. Very few people have familial hypercholesterolemia for which you may need to consult your doc after three months of discipline. You should be good

Prefer whole foods like daal with chhilka, rajma,lobia,chhola.. less processed like Dalia over fine atta, brown rice over white rice.. always begin with fiber (salad) followed by protein and carbs in the end. Rice and potatoes u should boil, cool, cook and heat to help u reduce glycemic impact.

u may need medication for २-३ months if LDL elevated and triglycerides, TG to HDL ratio high। ask your doc with your lipid profile।

Doctor, you explained very nicely. But there is something you doctors must know. Statins don't bring down Triglyceride. Their effect is only on LDL, unfortunately. And Fino Fibrate causes liver problems. So what does one do?

Statins have a lesser role in triglycerides than fenofibrates which is for triglycerides. Generally one can quickly control triglycerides without medicine unless very high and CVD risk.

Limit or stop dry fruits. They are high on calories which make you gain weight. Stop sugary drinks, oils and soft drinks, alcohol. Exercise daily.

Stop alcohol,sweets and oils completely! These are alarming levels! Walk twice daily for २०-३० minutes. Avoid strenuous exercise. Fruits ,vegetables,high fiber plant based whole foods only.

stop sweets (sugar , cold drinks, juices, packed lassi,shakes etc and read all labels when buying) and fatty stuff (deep fried, oils etc..). Fruits do not cause TG unless consumed in very high qty... Eat whole grains like peas, beans,lentils, legumes, fruits and veggies and avoid refined stuff like cakes pastries pizza pasta samosa kachori etc... stop alcohol

STOP Canned and frozen foods and leftovers. The nutritional value of food deteriorates with time. refined carbohydrates (Maida etc), processed foods in packets. ... Hydrogenated vegetable oils, partially hydrogenated or trans-fats. ... Soya,corn,safflower,pal, oil Sugar. ... Dairy products. ...milk curd cheese buttermilk ghee cakes breads pastries biscuits Meat. ...and Eggs Alcoholic beverages. ... EAT Whole foods, plant based diet (Peas, beans (Rajma, lobia),lentils (Dals), legumes (Chickpeas), Fruits and vegetables Manage stress , do deep breathing and pranayam Give it 6-8 weeks. You should get relief though it may take longer to improve. If platelates very low ask doctor to prescribe meds. Could be a spleen issue.

Dear Dir mera Total Cholesterol 289, Triglycride 489, HDL 53, LDL 191, VLDL 98 or Non- HDL Cholesterol 236 hai, abhi mera weight 72.6Kg or age 38 Y hai. BP bhi 150-100 or 130-80 ke beech main fluctuate karta rehta hai. Dr. ne abhi ek week pehle mujhe astrastatin 20mg chalu kiya hai, main roj 6kg walking(slow and fast) with running morning and 3km evening main kar raha hoon. Diet control kar diya hai, sugar/sweets main pehle bhi naa ke baraber leta tha or aab bahut kam kar diya hai(Only two cup of Tea). kya itne se saare Cholesterol level sahi ho sakte hain, please advise me.

Quite possible.. other readings like total,vldl, triglyceride etc indicate an issue. If you still have doubts get this done after 4-6 weeks again. Reduce oil drastically,outside/packed food and even dairy in all forms you should stop for 4-6 weeks.. continue 10k steps daily.. Choose whole foods like yellow peas, beans, lentils,legumes,fruits and vegetables.. do not juice.. handful of peanuts is good for a day. U can continue statin as advised for 6-8 weeks and once readings are ok, ask doc to consider stopping them. Maintain same discipline always.

stop sugar, cold drinks, sweets and saturated/trans fats (deep fried items). Stop dairy products, refined carbs like bread, samosas, pizza, burgers etc . Eat more green vegetables/Salads and whole grains and good fats like 4-5 almonds, walnut (akhrot), peanuts. Walk one hour every day. You will be good in four weeks. If you follow discipline you may not need medicine for now. Do consult your doc if anything specific.

Stop sweets/sugar, alcohol,soft drinks and refined/fried items (very less flours), dairy. Increase fiber (largely vegetables and occasional fruit) and whole grains. Ask your doctor, he may like to prescribe a statin. You need to walk at least one hour every day morning evening 30 mins each. Triglycerides are quite high and aren't good at all.

Doctor Sir, I am 75 + Yrs Male . Recently Got angioplasty done Only in One LAD Artery inDec2O20 .My Lipid Profile is Total Cholesterol-170 LDL-120 HDL-32 But Triglycerides-390 . This sudden shooting of the Triglycerides from 250 to 390 over a period of 4 Months is not Understood . Blood Sugar Fasting is 116. All other Report LFT KFT ESR Complete Blood Count are well in range . Please advise how to Bring Down Triglycerides Level in range of 150-200.

Sir Mai ek lactare mother hoon mera baby 1 month ka hai . Abhi maine lipid profile karaya to mera tryglyceride 590 or cholesterol 276 tha. Mai vegetarian hoon or bahut jyada oily food bhi nahi khati na hi junk food leti hoon bus subah sam milk leti hoon . Kya mujhe milk chhor dena chahiye but dr ne suggest kiya hai ki kam se kam 1 litre milk consume kare agar breastfeed karana hai to. Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha ki mera tryglyceride or cholesterol itna kyun badha hua hai

Blood cholesterol tends to stay high for at least a month after giving birth. If you breastfeed, they can remain high until you stop. Chinta nahin karein, ye 6-8 weeks tak zyada reh sakta hai, aur breastfeeding jab tak band na ho, tab tak high reh sakta hai. baad mein normal ho jaate hain. Breastfeed ke baad jab Jab baby food shuru karein tab ek baar check karayein.

Just over threshold but you can quickly reverse it. At this stage no meds reqd. More fruits and vegetables..Whole grains.. stop sweets, sugar,soft drinks and fast foods/packed foods, fried foods, alcohol.. 30 min walk each day.. you will be good in a month.

Kidney stone can be resolved with medication and fluid intake. Gall bladder however beyond a point needs surgical intervention. High Cholesterol usually causes gall bladder stones. Triglyceride doesn't seem worrying.. just move and exercise, cut drastically on oils, have more fiber, fruits and vegetables. Intermittent fasting 16-18 hours each day 3-5 days a week will help you get rid of fatty liver.

EAT more vegetables, salads, whole grains (Peas, beans, lentils,legumes) and fruits Walk 45 mins each day and reduce stress through pranayaam and other activities you like. If you are disciplined you will be good in 45 days.

Exercise daily 30 mins. No dairy, no fats (incl packages items), no animal proteins. Go ZERO or minimal oil content and cold drinks/alcohol/sweets. You will be good soon in few weeks. Eat more WHOLE grains, fruits and vegetables, peas,beans and lentils

Go for low carb diet. You will get immediate results. I had reduced my triglycerides from 306 to 117. If i test my blood now, it may be less. Just go for low carb and it need not be vegan diet. This is my experience. This low carb diet had helped to manage my diabetes also. For last 14 days my average blood sugar is 97 ( as per my CGM sensor) without any medication. I eat low carb diet consisting of animal products, vegetables, ghee, cold pressed coconut oil, nuts, pumpkin seeds, flaxseed etc but no grains ( which used to raise my blood sugar). I had tried all type of grains but no use. Then i turned to low carb diet which is very effective.

डॉक्टर साहब, मैं न तो धूम्रपान करता हूँ और न ही शराब लेता हूँ। मैं नियमित रूप से टहलने जाता हूं और मैं बहुत सारी मछलियां खाता हूं, तेल से भरपूर उत्पादों से बचता हूं लेकिन आज मेरा ट्राईग्लेसराइड 410 आया !!!! मैं पूरी तरह से भ्रमित हूं क्योंकि मैं चीनी के लिए दवा ले रहा हूं और गरिष्ठ भोजन नहीं कर रहा हूं। ऐसा लगता है कि डॉक्टरों को भी कुछ स्पष्ट नहीं है।😢

please STOP ALL animal fats including fish, dairy products, packed foods, ALL oils and refined carbohydrates like cakes, breads, cold drinks, juices. Minimise dry fruits Switch to whole foods (chhilke waale items) rajma, chana, chhola, lobia, whole lentils, oats, fruits and vegetables, salads....brown rice Use intermittent fasting.. eat between 11 am and 7 pm, remaining time only water. No medicine without food for sugar, ask your doc also. aif he recommends you can take a statin for two months. Exercise 30 mins.. brisk walk everyday you will be good in 8 weeks. generally diabetes, triglycerides, cholesterol,hypertension happen together. Lost 10% weight to get back in shape.

डॉक्टर साहब में ब्लड प्रेशर की दबा telvas ct 40 रोज ले रहा हूं चीनी का परहेज करता ही हों फिर भी triglyceride 245 आ रहा है 150ke अंदर नहीं आ रहा है प्रति दिन टहलने भी जाता हूँ बहुत दिनों से पीड़ित हूँ please समाधान बताने की कृपा करदे उम्र 45 वर्ष है

reduce salt, walk 30 minutes everyday, swees,dairy aur fats band karna, fast 16 hours evreyday (eat at 11 am, 330 pm and 7 pm) baaki time fast on water only. check if you have diabetes/lipid issue. HbA1C test karwa ke doctor se consult karke shuru karna. ye generally ek saath aate hain maida, pizza pasta biscuit cakes pastries samose band.... oil/ghee band karo do mahine. green leafy Vegetables, fruits, rajma, chhole, lobia, chhilke waali daal khaana hai. Ghar ka simple khana khaao

Ask your doc. He may like to recommend some medicines like statins alongwith lifestyle changes that you can read on my other replies. Your TG and VLDL need control and HDL must go up. have more fibre, green veg, whole grains. stop refined cabs, sugar, soft drinks and trans fats like in packed/ fried foods

Tq Doctor for your reply. Actually my Doctor has prescribed me rosavation 5 mg for 3 months along with lifestyle changes and once my cholestrol level goes down. She told me to keep on diet and lifestyle changes. If it will be fine then she will stop thr medicine.

Go for low carb diet. You will get immediate results. I had reduced my triglycerides from 306 to 117. If i test my blood now, it may be less. Just go for low carb and it need not be vegan diet. This is my experience. This low carb diet had helped to manage my diabetes also. For last 14 days my average blood sugar is 97 ( as per my CGM sensor) without any medication. I eat low carb diet consisting of animal products, vegetables, ghee, cold pressed coconut oil, nuts, pumpkin seeds, flaxseed etc but no grains ( which used to raise my blood sugar). I had tried all type of grains but no use. Then i turned to low carb diet which is very effective.

Vegetarian or non vegetarian, if u have to reduce ur triglyceride try to go for low carb diet. It will help. I am saying based on my experience. I had triglycerides 306, it reduced to 117. I am going to check again my triglycerides. It may be lesser than 117 this time.

stop Dairy products, cold drinks, shakkar, oils and refined carbs (Maida,cakes,pastries,packed foods,fast food). Go for greens and veggies, whole foods, lentils, legumes, fruits. Aapoka HDL theek hai, sirf triglyverides aur VLDL par dhyaan dijiye. Roz 30 min walk kijiye.
