I want to make a C and SDL3 based roguelike. I've been talking about this idea for so long and keep changing genres and going down rabbit holes. I'm going to strip away goals not having to do with the core gameplay experience so i have a chance of getting this done.

Nice idea, although you should use raylib instead of SDL3 because it will help you make the game faster, where as, in SDL3 you will be making your own raylib instead of making the game

@TheCommunistRabbit raylib looks simpler to use and also seems to support html5 according to their website. I will have to look into how to use threads with this, since one goal is to get more solid with multithreading.

We all have some free time in the day. You watched this video, which could have been 4 minutes used on coding something. Obviously that won't get you far with just 4 minutes, but the point stands that if you have a set goal to code 20 minutes a day you can achieve that, though if you have a lot of responsibilities it might only be 4-5 days a week you can make it.
