It's amazing, isn't it? I love when I read something in my book and I think, "wow, this is really good - who wrote this?"! Writing takes time for me because I only do it when I'm inspired. It's where the inspiration comes from that fascinates me! 🤔🧐

That was excellent. I love to see others interpret the cards, it gives us more faceted view of the cards meanings. What i also see here is the dogs sadness almost like a depression with the Coffin, Cross, Moon.

the prefix Ur basically functions like great- in English. Like you have Great-Grandmother, in German it would be Urgroßmutter.

so the answer in that first 3 cards at first is ... if she starting it prematurely without much experience /knowledge (child) she will need a lot of effort and have difficulty (whip) ended up having a small chance to be successful (clover) whoah i am now getting lenormand

Lisa, you have such an ease for finding the exact meaning for each context. I have been reading Lenormand for 7 years and I still struggle sometimes to hit the head on the nail. Perhaps it would be interesting if you made a video explaining how you do this? Here's a challenge! LOL

You could literally say that there is distrust between them or there is something wrong with their relationship. But, this is a perfect example of why you need a specific question for a small spread. Who is the significator, the man or the woman? What was the question? That will determine your answer.

hi Lisa, what a great way to do a boxspread😀 I just have trouble understanding and reading the bottom row. For example, Rider is the core and the Scythe is underneath with only positive cards around it. Can I read it as: news that heralds an end?

Scythe is more of a warning or a hasty or swift decision to make a final cut. It can refer to ending something, but that's more the Coffin. Scythe is more related to sorting, editing, cutting certain parts of something out. If you recall from the third box video I made, the bottom row comprises the "basis" cards. The basis is the principle from which something sprang. They show underlying influences, forces, or tendencies that are acting behind the scene. So, if Rider is standing on the Scythe, we could say that the news the Rider is bringing is based on a hasty decision or a need to sort through something. Does that make sense?

Positive cards around the Scythe don't change the Scythe's meaning, but they lighten up the entire story. Without knowing what the context is and what the other cards are, it's impossible for me to say what the Rider above the Scythe is saying. This is why we can't memorize combinations. The interpretation will always be based on multiple factors. I hope that helps.

clover must be neutral

The Clover is a positive card on its own. This means that if it's surrounded by positive or even neutral cards, it will be positive. But all positive cards can become negative if the context and other cards warrant that. When you're learning, focus mainly on the core essence of each card and then see how it fits into the story along with the other cards.
