So smooth. I like that shuffle step for a little extra power. Thanks for the slow-mo at 3:00... I guess when you're a pro you're not self-conscious about people watching your slow-mo at .25 speed, lol. Thanks for sharing, kind sir. Smash.

You hear and see that a lot there, the first 3 holes are almost overlapping, he was at hole 2. That was pretty funny! I missed it the first time, until I read your comment and went back to see it.

The shuffle thing makes a pile of sense, thanks, I have issues over shouldering standstills and yanking them right,

Good stuff on the standstill vs step. This is exactly what I've been trying to dial in the last few months. It looks like I came to the same conclusion as you that a step or two into the up shot from longer distances helps me get my whole body into the right position to accurately hit my line and landing zone. Also I usually throw nose up on up shots and short tee shots as long as my ceiling allows. Thank you Drew. Helpful to see that you are thinking the same things as us noobs!

Miller Park? Looks like a nice day out there. Rocklin was packed today! Looking forward to some cooler weather here soon. Great tips Drew! The shuffle step method to approaches really works for me much better than a standstill.

Yeah if I was on the pro tour and good at disc golf for that matter I would sport a huge donkey rope, kangol, and a sweet ass red Adidas track suit and that’s just for round one. For final round I’d be draped up and dripped out in all FUBU. Can’t hate on that!

Hey Drew. Thanks for the tips. I'm coming back to disc golf after a about a ten year hiatus. I never knew to try and match slope angle of the ground with the angle of your throw. That is a very good tip!

Great video. Watched the Dynamic Discs about upshots and they suggested using an easy hyzer shot that is normal but didn't go into depth about matching the angle and straight shots to land on hills or whatever. Now I just gotta get use to throwing those putter upshots.

Drew. What is the grip on the disk? I always grip lock on my upshots on a standstill and yank right. Thanks!!! Keep the tutorials coming!!!
@aaronmayhew2.04 жыл бұрын
My grip is all whack too. Huge fan grip for mids and a 2/3 finger power grip on drives. I haven't a clue how to throw a fairway driver. Power grip feels weird and fan grip is pointless.

@@SirFlanery LOL! Yeah, yesterday was the closest I have come to a 3 on that hole, but it was still a circle 2 putt with a tree in the middle... I tried to run it, but was not successful. This time! lol
