You made the right choice buying a Bowtech Solution SS. Hoyts suck and most of them require tuning them to have the top drawstop hit the cable 1/8" before the bottom hits. I just got a BlackOps Solution SS last week, and have been messing around with it ever since. The only problem I have with this bow is my arrow sits pointing slightly to the left after tuning it due to how the cams are designed - they're not centered on the riser/limbs after tuning. My favorite bow still is the Bowtech Destroyer 350, and that's why I owned 3 of them (but gave one away to my best friend).

Congratulations on the bow I love that cam system they have. The best part of camo bows is that they don’t show any scratches or dents compared to solid colors. I’m currently shooting a 2021 30” Hoyt Ventum, I do like it but the cams can be a bit of a pain to move.

This is true. I always get solid colors but my next bow is going to be camo. I don’t like to baby my bows as I hunt hard public land and my bow experiences a lot of rough stuff. I’m constantly checking if I scratched it.

We experienced the same thing coming to the same conclusion. I wanted a Hoyt initially and found the Bowtech Solution meeting my needs better. I generally shoot 60lbs and could draw the 70lb bow clean. The weight and versatility is sweet. The OD green is beautiful, but I purchased the Mossy Oak Hide Open finish to match my other hunting gear. I like smooth and quiet. Most bows are fast enough for me. I do not regret my decision.

My first compound bow was a PSE thunderbolt single lightning cam , 60lb that I bought new in 1999. I recently gave it to a family member , for his first bow . It was replaced with a Diamond Deploy Sb , ata 31” . I like the diamond a lot, but the back wall feels a little spongy , and wants to pull of that shelf . It took awhile to get used to a new modern bow , and how it shoots . My new bow is a Bowtech SR350 60lb black , 34” ata ,qad hex rest , Truglo micro adjust sight . This latest bow is amazing to shoot . So steady in your hand when it fires .

Not surprised....they are techy and they are GOOD. Making cheaper bows like the diamond infinite edge pro cheapened the brand but the performance and quality of everything bowtech makes especially the solution ss has brought them to the top 3 brands with Mathews and hoyt. Hoyt bows are smooth but less fast and more heavy. Bowtech is hanging tough in hunting and competition. I would only buy the bowtech or hoyt the Mathews he as pigeon holed themselves as the exploding one with too many strings and HUGE cams.

I can tell ya the best bow in the world for anyone is,,,,,there isn't one, at least not one that's best for everybody. The bow that fits YOU and your shooting style the best is the right one for you. I will say some are of better quality and features but it all come down to what you as an individual wants in a bow. I own PSE, Bear and Mathews and shoot well with them all because I set them up to my shooting and hunting style. I also got into crossbows after a surgery kept me from being able to draw my bow for a season. Now I shoot whichever one floats my boat for each particular hunting situation. I practice with them all so I'm ready no matter what. Good luck and have a safe hunting season.

Glad to see Hoyt finally using a binary cam. They should do well with it. I shot Hoyt for years but I got where I didn't like the cam 1/2 design because they reduced the valley to zero and it didn't have any usable valley. So I started shooting bows with binary cams. Even though Mathews uses a binary cam ,but the below center grip design really makes the bow feel top heavy. PSE makes some nice designed bows with binary cams and worth a hard look. I have a 2011 Bowtech Specialist with Barnsdale limbs and really like it. Since I recently go my CNC milling machine finished, I may just build my own bow this coming year. But when it comes down to buying a new bow, Bowtech is really hard to pass up. They are designed very well and tune great. They are very shooter friendly.

Can put arrows touching consistently at 25 yards. It still shoots well but I went to my local shop recently to try a few. They only had a Mathews V3 31 for me to try. Wanted to compare the V3 to a Solution and a PSE EVL. It's hard doing the research online without being able to get hands on, but I like the custom color build options for Mathews and Bowtech. Luckily the shop had one in stock I tried out the V3, V3X, Solution, Solution SS, and a few others. I have had a Hoyt and I just wasn’t as impressed. To me a high end bow is going to be pretty close to each other, so to me it is feel. The SS just did it for me, smoothest bow I have tried and had. May not be as fast as others but I can deal with that. Using the Fast Eddie XL 2 site middle pin. Then just the normal shit put on the bow, still figuring out my balancers trying different ones out right now.

Currently shoot rx5 30, vxr 28, bowtech sr6 & a prime, I’m a bow junky 😂. I got to say the rx5 is my go to during 3D season I shot them all and it produced my highest scores. Hamskea drop always are what I got rigged up and axel sights on two of them. Shot a oryx with the vxr28 last year. So no matter what people say which is better. I can say this a bow is only as good as the monkey operating it😂.
