Jews were there and Ottoman came and conquered the land. Ottoman could have given all the lands to Palestinians. British came in and defeated Ottoman Empire. They captured the land but gave the Jurisdiction to UN to allocate lands to Palestinians and Israel. In 1947, UN allocated slightly bigger land to Palestinians and a smaller land to Israel. Israel declared independence in 1948 but not Palestinians. Why? Palestinians were greedy, thinking of grabbing more lands before declaring independence. War came and Palestinians lost more land. Israel was willing to return Gaza, West Bank and Sinai for peace. Did they have peace?
