Hi, What I got from your video is to focus on one room at a time. So thank you for that!! I will finish the one room I see in my head but always have a second and third I want to tackle too. I have a basement who needs major decluttering. My kids picked up all their bins (and reluctantly took them back to their own homes) so that is minus several bins, yahoo!! I want to now organize or get rid of the multitude of bins that still seem to be growing, organize what we keep, set up a work out area and get a new floor for the den. Love the way you tackle a room with your militant style uniform complete with boots and you set out on your mission! Thanks for the inspiration and rather than redo the kitchen (that really doesn't need it) I'm going to finish that basement once and for all since we started it in early January! Ps: your bedroom looks so fresh, clean and stylish and your videos are a pleasure to watch!

I love your video it was meant for me as well. I get overwhelmed with all of the thrifted items I have and doing nothing with it!! Along with my husband telling me the same thing!! Hi Sherri, I watched this video and I loved it. But I must say I have still been watching your last week's video (3 times now) because it rings so true to me. My difficulty stems from refusing to donate, giveaway or throw out my husband's belongings. He died by suicide just over a year ago and it has been a challenge for me to part with anything that is a part of him. I am in the same spot. I don't want my son left with all this clutter. I have got to get rid of it including some old antiques of his. I am so overwhelmed. So I am still working on last week's video. I have seen Quince in adds on KZbin but have never tried them. I need strength. Quince.

Hi! Your linnen are sooo lovely. I live in Sweden and we "only" have the duvet covers style of bedding that you show here and there is never any ribbons to tie on our duvets or in our covers. Tho it´s a smart idea for thick heavy duvets that can slide around inside the cover. Most of us use a flat sheet and fold it in under the top matress then we have some pillows (50x60cm is standard here, I looove your big ones) with pillow cases and a duvet /two in a double bed with a duvet cover. Some people then have a big bedspread but not all. Some people have a bedskirt and the flat sheet can be replaced with a fitted. We don´t have different sizes on double beds either, most of them are 180x200cm . My partner is really tall so we searched until we found a bed that is 210cm long.

Hi Sherri just dropping a wee line or 2 to say how thoroughly I'm enjoying both your channels and look forward to seeing them pop up each week which is then my cue to put the kettle on and have a cuppa. Couple of times year is when I carve out time to focus, get inspired, tweak, change, redecorate, restyle and declutter areas in my home. Quince feels like a good idea for us too. I’ll be checking out this company. We need to freshen up and simplify our bedroom space and let the natural beauty of fine basic things like natural materials carry the room. It just feels right for a restful night. That duvet cover is lovely. Little by little natural elements are making our home feel more like a warm, comfy and relaxing retreat. I seem to be gravitating to wools, silk, cotton, linen, down, natural baskets,metals, brick, stone, glass and clay. All Gods gifts. Mostly when possible I buy from online reselling sites to boot. You get such great partnerships Sherry! Quince looks very promising, love the neutral colors that can pretty much go with any season. I have textured walls in my house, so I’m constantly dusting. And you would think my Pibbles would be bald with all the dogs hair I sweep up, Hanks face was so sweet ❤ I’m just waiting on our weird NC weather to make up it’s mind if we are done with winter, now we are getting all this rain and I’m ready to clean and do yard work! I enjoy watching your video's on Sunday evening. I worked on one of our spare bedrooms, one of the grandaughters use that room when they spend the night. So used alot of antique linens I have from my Aunt and grandmother. They both did beautiful work, so much time involved in making these pieces. Fills so good , that room is clean and redone for the summer. Now on to the next room. Thank you so much for the inspiration , spurring me on to get my own home in order. Also simplifiying and using what I have , just moving things around to make it all look fresh.

The thing I have done to help me keep from impulse/overbuying is to keep this rule: I don’t buy things for rooms or clothes for a body that doesn’t exist. Nor do I buy or keep things for made up or imagined future occasions or an imaginary life that I would LIKE to live but actually don’t.
