The most important thing is to pick somewhere that makes you feel inspired and want to live there. If you're looking for affordable, the Carolinas are good options. Lots of places to hike and kayak. Generally good people. If you're looking for somewhere more adventurous then Colorado is a great option. It can be expensive to live in Denver, but that's not the only place there. It's a beautiful state with both deserts and ski resorts at the same time. Picking somewhere within Uhaul driving range is ideal, but truthfully, just find somewhere that you feel compelled to go and you'll make it work. If it's not too far, you could even visit for a day or a few, and see how you like it. Hope that helps. ^.^

I’ve been thinking about getting plane tickets or scheduling a road trip to the place I like the most with my mom. This is most definitely helpful! I have always wanted to go to Colorado, but I’d be down for just about anywhere ❤️

@@raimigardner5769 it has lots of trails, the peninsula which is a free state park, cold long winters with lots of snow, and a pretty low cost of living. It’s 2 hours from Pittsburgh, less than two away from Cleveland, and 3 from Niagara Falls.
