hey so its really cool to see the different logging methods we use harvesters and forwarders 2 machines and the logs are cut to lenght and on the roadside where selfloader takes them and straight to mill

Is it being underneath that is unsafe? I just leave my head hanging like you do and pull the bar down press the button shove the bar back and roll the new one on the tip.

I don’t see it being un safe the way we do it! Prob the safety police think cuz the heads in the air! I’ve tried laying the head on the ground and rolling it away from me with the bar out but it’s a pain to put the chain cuz the bar won’t stay locked on the pin and just never had any luck that way!

@@wantowski987 it’s always made me wonder about the safety guys and could they write a ticket off a video? I had Washington state L&I see an ad I had thirty years ago and threaten me for not having a contractor license for clearing, couldn’t a video violation be treated the same? Or all these jobs people post without correct permitting? Big brother out there, watching AND listening, lol.
