Please be clear with your information while uploading a video. The WAP7 had crashed into a heavy crane while travelling at a substantial speed of 130 km/h with a heavy passenger train (Sealdah Rajdhani) behind it. The diesel twins are rescuing the train. Because of how unclear your title is, people have assumed that the WAP7 crashed into the diesel twins which is simply not true.

Yes you are right.. I was traveling on the train..if it is the train in which i was traveling, then the incident happened near Mirzapur (in the month of January 2023). Our Rajdhani was already late from Delhi..and departed 19hrs late....it was a foggy afternoon...around 1-2PM the incident happened. A heavy crane was standing near the track....and our train hitted it with 130 km/h .....after everything, our train left the place at around 7Pm. Then it stopped in Din Dayal upadhay Station (formerly known as Mughalsarai). I also have the videos when it happened and will post them in youtube in my Vlogging channel...And if you give me permission then i can also use this video in my vlog.

In this particular accident, the WAP7 had hit a crane at 130 km/h. It was bound to get damaged like that. The WAG12 was damaged like that because the train it was hauling was fully loaded and it was running at a higher speed while the WDG4 twins were hauling an empty freight. The weight of a single WAG12 is only 180 tonnes (both units combined), while a single WDG4D locomotive weighs in excess of 134 tonnes (so, 2 WDG4s combined is 268 tonnes). So, it was like the WAG12s were crushed in between 2 very heavy objects with a lot of momentum. So, it's not that the electric locos are weak. Far from it. They are just as strong as the diesels.
