dear as a indian loved pak team of 90s pakistan in australia never won a live series after 1979 they won a dead rubber in 1995 when wasim and waqar played under malik captaincy i suppose 1999 hobart test even though langer not out in second innings when he was out still i feel pakistan bowling was not up to the mark and yes they won a bilateral series in 2002 when they both played not to forget carlton series where they won the tri series defeating west indies in the finals for me the real petformance by pakistan bowler is the great imran khan who picked up twelve wickets in a test in sydney 1976 when aus was really strong under chapell captaincy no highlight of that match available really imran khan the greatest

We miss the Windies of old but also that Pakistan side was something else. These two were super good bowlers, around '92 for a couple of years they were unplayable.... not many overseas sides won the tri-series but they did it in 1996. In Australia in those times there were some players who captured the imagination of the locals, these two did it 100%.

At the age of 16, no one can bowl how quick he bowls right now. Even the Aussie pacers get mature and then they're able to bowl 140-145 clicks. Some other Pakistani pacers like Wahab and Amir can hardly bowl upto 145 clicks with their packed run ups. But this guy and Co. (Musa Khan & Mohd. Husnain) are continuously bowling with express pace of 145+kph regardless of undeveloped body structure. Isn't it great to see the wonders? But these kids can prove vital in the future, if they use the expertise of Waqar, Wasim and other legendary experts of the game along with their own creativity. I'm the end, I can only say, these raw diamonds need to be polished with extreme care. Best of luck 🤞

Shoaib was never jealous of those two, he always respected them. In return, these two ( especially Wasim ) felt extremely jealous of Shoaib and felt very insecure of him during his peak, often leading to team disharmony from 1999-2003.

Both are legends, known for being extraordinary in the Cricketing field. But I would like to differ Wasim Akram saying it was a healthy rivalry. It wasn't a healthy rivalry. Waqar led the rebellious players after the 1993 Sharjah Cup. Wasim took revenge from Waqar and dropped him several times. Even in the 1996 England tour, he urged selectors to drop Waqar, which they didn't. Waqar replied by taking Eight wickets in the match and was declared Man of the Match. During 1999 Australian tour, again Waqar was dropped

Wasim & Waqar in their prime years bowling in early 90 mph along with young shoaib as a first change consistently 95+ mph then Razzaq or Azhar bowling their in-dippers and in the end the guile of Saqi ........... I don't think there is any batting lineup that could have a better chance against this bowling attack, unfortunately it never happened. Was and Wiqi were too old by 2003

Any visible use of reverse swing outside of dry subcontinent conditions has always involved ball tampering to get one side rough within a practical amount of time. After the revelations of the 90s, this is common knowledge now, just covered by status quo. So if the same Englishmen celebrate their famous and precious 2005 Ashes victory and the huge role that reverse swing played in it, then they should also acknowledge Pak's 1992 test victory in England and the world cup in the same year as fairplay.

A load of BS what Wasim is trying to convey here. Wasim & Waqar's rivalry has affected badly to Pakistan cricket and many senior players of the team would vouch for that.
