for those that dont work in the industry, all 3 apes movies took top honors at the visual effects society awards. which is essentially the highest honor the industry can bestow for visual effects work. oscars for vfx dont really mean that much, besides bragging rights you got an oscar thats about it.

Man... Weta is just the best for characters by a long shot, it still looks amazing, and it´s from 2017. The New Kong from 2024 can´t match this and it´s from MPC... You rule Weta! those blend shapes and Morph Targets are at another level, always with the artistic approach instead of mainly relying in Joints and automatic deformers.
