I wrote a long post on another response about it. Short version eye for an eye has made the entire world blind to each others suffering. At this point no one can see the damage they cause others. So the cycle will never stop. This is because it is what started everything. You can see it in the Titans fighting each other that lead to Fritz calling it quits, but even back further Slight Brief Spoiler: Making a certain someone being blind because of other people lording over them more poignant. It has always been there and will always be there. I think that's why Eren wants to end it all. There is no hope.

Plus she has never seen an Ackerman fight a Titan before (except maybe Mikasa fighting regular weak titans at the beginning). So in Ymir's memories, only Titan Shifters are strong against Titans (remember Ymir's last day on Paradis, people got wrecked in the tower and later, they barely escaped just cuz Eren had the Coordinates, meaning humans are helpless). It was 100% necessary for 5 “slower” episodes before we saw the return of the old characters because now we’re attached to both sides and it really makes u realize that there is no good or bad side. Translation was wrong. Every reactor I watched was fooled, so I'll copy my explanation here. Willie didn't say ""Most of them will be Eldians! They're spawn of the devil!" Correct translation: "Most of them will be Eldians! Aren't they supposed to be spawn of the devil!?" Willie is pointing out that it's Marleans and others who call Eldians that, Magath has sent Eldians on suicide missions, and now he's suddenly concerned!? That's what's going on as Willlie snaps at Magath. Willie acted as Erwin Smith did in season 1. He placed innocents in danger to smoke out enemy. Just like Erwind did with Annie in Stohess district. Hitch was upset that she had to clear civillian corpses because Survey Corp were crazy enough to let innocents die for a cause. Same thing here. Explanation of how that mistake was possible follows. Feel free to skip if not interested in linguistics. The second phrase goes like this: Akuma no matsuei nandaro? Here's the problem. Translator clearly didn't hear the final "ro" which changes the meaning. Akuma no matsuei nanda! < This means "(They are) Spawns of the devil!" Akuma no matsuei nandaro? < This means "(Aren't they) Supposed to be spawns of devil?" The final "ro" was indeed hard to hear, but one got to pay attention to intonation and stressing of sounds. If one says "nanda" affirmatively then the first "a" is stressed. Like "nAnda". If it doesn't end there and keeps going into "nandaro", then first two "a"s are flat and the final "o" is stressed in comparison, like "nandarO". So the moment you hear flat "a"s in "nanda" you know it's gotta be longer than that. Btw, to express shock and disbelief as in "what!?", the last "a" would be stressed and slightly prolongued like "nandAh". To express wondering about something one stresses the first "a" and prolongues last "o" like "nAndaroh..." as in "(I wonder) what (is that)..." Translator failed to hear the phrase correctly. Happpens all the time in audio translation, btw.

If you think about it, the War Hammer is probably overall the best Titan because aside from size in the case of the Colossal or hardening in the case of the Armored, all the Titans are basically just overgrown humans. The War Hammer can literally create weapons so if you not using those other Titan's abilities to the max, you done!

Mikasa hair change is something we find out later, but her physique is definitely noticably more "manly" (not the best term i guess). She has always focused on training her body to be a perfect tool for war to protect Eren and Armin. Her bigger strong physique now shows she doesnt care about the feminine aspect of her body but its usefulness to survive.
