I saw recently on Tested YT channel, a Miniature model expo, and there's another scene from Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds, based on another painting from the LP/CD Booklet. Namely the scene at the end where the birds are eating the remains in the downed Tripods. Nice to see more dioramas from this album. Geat work!

Looks great. I'm only a year late, but what the heck. If I was to do this, I'd consider doing the legs out of brass rod and use the 'bobbly bits' along the leg as a support to hold it all together. That way you get the strength of the brass rod holding it all together, and the 3D printed 'bobbly bits' to make it look like the artwork. Great job tho.

@oculusangelicus89789 ай бұрын
Hey here's a bit of an upgrade for repairing errors in 3D prints. Instead of using superglue and resin dust, just use the liquid resin and then hit it with a UV light, it's far faster and far quicker than superglue and a lot less troublesome. the bonus is that it's the same color as your print. Essentially printer resin is the same as UV resin sold in tiny bottles for exorbitant prices. buy a bottle of clear printing resin if you want to use it for other purposes as well. which is a perfect thing to use when making dioramas with water in them. a perfect material for use as water, and wet surfaces and even glass if you know what you're doing.
