Man what Stryker did to those kids pissed me right off. And the funeral scene was one of the few times I've shed a tear in comics. That moment is why I feel people are wayyy to hard on Cyclops. Dude lost 42 kids on his watch, and had to personally bury 15 of them. A loss like that takes it's toll. So I totally understand when he forms X-force, and starts taken out threats before they become threats. Or when he wants to kill the Scarlet.

CornBreadtm some of the mutants she de-powered we're flyers that lost their powers mid-flight. I'm reminded of a quote by the Green Goblin during the dark reign when he said " had I been put in charge sooner, Scarlet Witch would have been dead years before she developed the power to wipe out an entire species." Norman is an evil bastard, but at least he has his priorities.

@William Forrester Remember it's not just the 616 mutants that were stripped of their powers, mutants in every reality in the multiverse were affected. Residents of a reality in an infinite # of realities have lost their powers, their lives, their homes, even their whole worlds becuz of what SW did. Just cuz the writers needed an excuse to reduce the mutant population still doesn't absolve her of blame for all of the irreparable damage she caused.
