I don't mind Zoro and Sanji being commander level despite a lack of training because their power ups in Wano are material. It's like in an rpg; getting better gear makes you stronger, even if you haven't leveled up. Luffy on the other hand doesn't use gear, so he's constantly grinding exp by training and battling powerful enemies. I could see why some might say Zoro and Sanji's power ups don't feel earned. But I think it's time Zoro got a new sword, and he's gonna have to tame it himself. And Sanji's raid suit is the narrative reward for him working through his childhood trauma. Question: I'd love to get your thoughts on what I stated above.

Question corner: Since the plan has been compromised from the start how do you think Orochi will deal with the information he obtained? Also how did Luffy and Chopper not even address Big Moms presence to Kinemon considering the danger 2 Yonko bring

The yasu'ie plot gave Zoro personal connection to wano. People are trying to draw a disconnect between Zoro and wano but act 2 was more so just this. Giving Zoro a true connection to his homeland

Sanjis power up gives him plus power. But Zoros just drains the power which Zoro already has.

Enma isn't a straight forward power up. He has to train to use it so that he uses just the right amount of haki. That is the 1st hurdle then he has to figure out how to make a blade black and convert Enma into a black blade. So he has a 2 step process with Enma. Zoro's upgrade are believable non-ass pull like sth handed to you because of lineage.

Reading the latest chapters made me think about how kuina really died.. what do you guys think happened ? I think one of zoros final end game opponents perhaps killed her in an honorable sword duel but koshiro didnt tell zoro because that swordsman was too strong for zoro at that time and therefore he was protecting zoro. The person who killed her was not evil, but if it was a young prodigy mihawk, it could add weight to zoros fight with mihawk or any end game swordsman but i hope its mihawk, weird coincedence but it could be plausible how else could she have died that would matter

There shouldn't different flashbacks for the different people like oden and ryuma but a singular flashback that spans the line of shimotsuki that sheds proper light onto oden and basically the whole of wano

i cared about Yasuie thanks to his last speech alone, it was an amazing speech and a very smart move to save the alliance, and he sacrificed himself. that along with the reveal of the SMILE's side effects at the end of the chapter made that chapter the high point of the act for me, which is crazy considering how much more shit happened later. that chapter was the point when the act ramp up a notch for me and it was almost golden all the way through till the end. only exception was the way Big Mom passed out and transported to Kaidou, i didn't like the pacing of that chapter and feels like a big ass pull to get Big Mom to Kaidou without having her causing too much damage. still, the point of her entire sub plot was also to develop a connection between Big Mom and the people of Wano, therefor i think she will not just be an antagonist this arc, there's a lot more from her character to come into play.

the reason the sword absorbs haki is because it’s a cursed blade. also their word for haki is just riyo; it doesn’t mean zoro knows how to do the haki that destroys from the inside like luffy.

The pace is still an improvement over WCI at the minute. Even if nothing's happening, at least it's not long, static shots of people's faces without dialogue for 80% of the episodes.

Ryou is a person's vital force, I don't see how a sword could give it to someone. Then again I don't see how a sword can take it out of someone either.

If air slashes are just pressure strength and speed by the move then it would stand to reason Luffy should have been sending off air blasts/slashes with g2 and higher where is the solid argument against it?
