I don't know if you know but if you press the blue button at the top of the screen you can add any unit or building from any age straight into your game, that way you dont need to test stuff on animals :)

Looks interesting. In IR1 gas mortars can be very good against infantry but lack of howtizers will probably force you to prepare another tactic against armored units. IR2 vehicles look also very powerful, especially Zrinyi with its huge range. Also music is awesome

Finally subscribed , when I noticed I've watched a few cool videos of yours in the past. Cheers for the lovely and much needed guides on WS. With regards to Austro-Hungary, would it be better if your Emmas started fixed and you had to strategically place them defensively early on and then in IR2 they would be able to upgrade to mobile units? To be fair my Bertas as so slow that they almost seemed fixed too. =P I am not sure if the mobile to fixed cannon is based on historical or just hiking prices of gas to move them, but strategically who wants to have 10 unmovable Emmas sitting far from the battle?

Austria Hungary shows us new game mechanics like poison which i think is really interesting. It maybe gives us a Hint on what we are going to see in the Future. The Wonder Emma can be really strong in my opinion and that Turkey isn´t the only country with Artillery now is pretty cool. The Wonder Emma compared to the Russian Rocket launcher has a slightly shorter range but is still pretty strong. The Csaba are similar to the Indian Wheeled tanks. I think that this Country is pretty interesting especially for longer matches and it has really strong defensive units but also fast units to destroy the economy.

Hi! Austria / Hungary is OP that everything has good armour like cannon towers for defense (moving slow) and tanks, there's too anti air cars what has good armour, minigun cars has cannons which is op and fast. Mortar poison is very good in early ir1 when others don't have miniguns. Austria / Hungary is very interesting and has a lot tactics. Fast tanks rush, cannon sneak and kill, with poison mortars can slow enemies. I really hope that I can get Austria / Hungary. Good luck everyone.

I see a lot of potential in this new country, especially the Csaba AT-s (tankette KD with a turret) and the fortified emma (bc. takes less population for the same firepower), certainly will be a fun and competent country to play.

The country looks damn strong when rushing in IR1: you have units that can easily destroy all the infantry of past eras (gas mortars, Csaba). Easy recruitment of artillery for subsequent pushing and all this is possible from Eastern Europe. What would I change, something of this should obviously be in IR2 (albeit to the detriment of roleplay), the same Germany gets a big Berta in IR1 and... loses all air defense.

Instead of gas mortars, they could have added an infantry to counter other infantry units using gas? A gas grenadier perhaps? Wonder emma looks absolutely stunning. I love how it works. Can't wait to try it in game.

the country seems good for long range seige with the wonder emma, and the csaba can provide great surport for it, but the gas mortar dosent feel very good, i havent tested it alot but the dmg is low and the gas wears away pretty quick so dosent feel good for gasing front line infantry

I think hungary has similar gameplay to Turkey mainly because of those powerful turrets. You might just rush wonder and spam trurrets around your TH.

I think AH is pretty strong but they have close to no anti armor in ir1 so i think they are going to be week to tank rushes

The gas unit can easily be killed i think at least. Wouldn't a single armored car or canon be able to kill infinity mortars

Personally I think its weird that the devs made them a mechanized nation. I thought they would be a scout cavalry + fast artillery nation with armoured cars and some defensive forts. I was thinking purely Austria-Hungary. Devs were thinking more of Hungary Hungary.

Well they got the artillery of Austria Hungary and the armoured cars type units, and Hungary in WW2 did have some good tanks such as the ones in game.

Austria Hungary in WW1 fought in a doctrine of a scout cavalry scouting regiments and leading the spearhead of a battlefield with the army and the artillery following behind them shortly. If the Austrian cavalry failed to see the enemy this led to huge casualties for the army because the marching army assumed the land had already been scouted by the army. As for the car, the Csaba is WW2 Hungarian. I thought they would add the world's first armoured car which was designed in Austria Hungary but it was never implemented as it's engine scared the Austrian Hungarian. Emperor Ferdinand's horse which led to him terminating the project. Otherwise we could have a very cheap armoured car but with a horse scaring debuff aura. Would be very useful against Poland. And then everyone wanted the flagship of the Hungarian navy for the battleship. This what I meant by I was thinking purely Austria Hungary.

I think austro-hungary will be strong against russia in the early ir since they have a long range anti-infantry unit. I prefer long range units such as the light trench mortar and imo their counter are going to be the same one.

Hungary very stronk, available from both East and West EU. Tractor in IR1, house doesn't cost much. Gas mortar only can attack infantry, cavalry, elephant it deals 5 damage-armor then deal 3 damage overtime for 30s penetrating armor, very good against all units with 85 HP and lower especially armored flammenwerfer ;), oh and it's 2 pop not 1. Csaba is armored car with -15 speed but better stats with more cost, in IR2 after tank research = easy TC snipe with 10s upgrade time deal 100/4s very strong sadly its not 100x6 anymore :(. Wonder Emma is very nice support if your teammate is pushing strong just think of it as 600 range bertha, fortified version very nice for defending position it's a much more stronger artillery tower but takes 4 pop. Nimrod also very strong only 5 pop but deal 100/4s as well with nice range, also shoot AA flak at air truly strong multi-purpose tank. Zrinyi II doesn't seems worth it low min range with long projectile flight time, only good for stationary unit/building basically, Zrinyi I is the way to go instead with more accuracy and much better min range basically GB Tank Destroyer but doesn't move backward. The new country is well designed and has powerful units, but I guess the devs will nerve the Csaba soon, it is just too strong imo

tbh i'm disappointed in the country. It's a very bad choice in 1v1 as it is abstract with expensive armored car, no howitzers, no cavalry, and no light tank in ir1. As for ir2, it has the best tanks in the game and a good defense, making it a good support-wonder country(you can't go wonder in any game though). I would've liked the country to be a counter to russia ir1 and with some balance changes to west eu change the meta. Also hopefully buff asia later.
