This is a movie i get it. But it is historically inaccurate. During WW2, China fought alongside USA as an Allied power against the Japanese in the pacific theater. There's also many instances where Allied pilots crash landed behind enemy lines in occupied Manchuria and were rescued by the Chinese forces. But bcs of the present situation, the CCP changed the narrative to show ppl that they were never allies and have been fighting against USA and western powers since the 1900s 😅

@@arbitrarylife this was portrayed during Korea I believe, their was a political regime change between WW2 and the Korean War. The nationalist were our allies during ww2 but then after it ended a civil war happened between the nationalists and the communist party and Mao Zedong won the civil war, America had an anti communist policy and so when Korea was divided their were those who supported a democracy (South Korea) and those who’s supported communism (North Korea) and when the war began China fought alongside the North Koreans and the U.S. fought with the South Koreans. I hope this helps. This movie is good nonetheless cause I love seeing war portrayed by the other side of the spectrum. I’m glad they didn’t make us Americans look like a*sholes lol
