As I'm sure many have already said in the comments, 9.3 is the ultimate suffer br. Personally, more often than not, I end of facing 10.3s; that's why I had such distain for F-5cs (trying to spade 9.3s)

The br problems of jets like this would be solved if gainjin changed the matchmaking system from +/- 1.0 to +/- 0.5, That would be the end of the so called br compression.

I'd like to see it being experimented with at 9.3 in simulator because honestly,it isn't a good aircraft, especially as top tier and compared to the g91, it is faster, accelerates faster, but the g91 out dogfights it. Both have Aim 9b's and the e is just a juiced B. Could be interesting.

I came here to comment this! The F100D and Mig 19-PT (Or even the Mig 21-PFM maybe) I think should be put into EC 6 if we are not going to get an EC8 or other measures to decompress sim.

@@sosobel5843 Also in that BR range would probably be stuff like the Drakken. It’s meeting Tomcats in Sim which is outrageous. Or the Milan. I actually have a high AOA gun kill on a Milan recorded because it was neat kill lol.

I mean flying my F-86 F2 I get plenty of good games while being in a up tier. And all I have learned is to pick your fights. Wait for the first initial engagement and pick off enemies that are low and slow or to focused on your allies. SU-25's are easy pickings and I would imagine the F-100 be able to catch the filthy SU-7s. While I pretty much has to either wait for them at bombing points or do a fast strafe at the airfield while they reload (Most maps has airfields by a slope, so use the low ground to get in and do a quick strafe and get out while staying low to avoid airfield missiles)

Thought I saw more F-100's and Skyrays when flying my 9.0 Vautour. If only they dropped the Vautour IIN early to the same level (or lower) as the IIN late.

Unlocked this jet yesterday and have had absolutely no fun playing it, 9.3 does absolutely nothing for this aircraft even now with some of the br changes thatve been going on recently. The stock grind for this aircraft is miserable, AIM9B is useless and you can rarely get your guns on target due to how bad this plane compresses. At slower speeds it handles decent but being slow with no flares against a full team of premium aircraft with juiced missiles is a death sentence. maybe once I get the 9Es it will be a little more fun to fly but as of right now it is a miserable experience.

i would prefer 4 AIM9E and 4 good guns plus ability to runaway to MIG17s turntime , acceleration and horrible guns compared to american ones

The mig 17s guns are not horrible? They have a high skill gap but if you even graze someone with the 37 or the two 23s the chances of them surviving is slim to none.

-Chinese F-100a at 9.3 has aim9-b's and 2 bombs at 9.3 while the American F-100d gets 4 aim9-e's and 10 bombs at 9.3?? -Su-25 with all aspect missiles at 9.7 going against A-4's is ridiculous.

I’m happy it’s going down but it’s really not as bad as you say, I rolled a talisman on it so I played it a lot and it can do a lot of good, the guns are great and I’ve hit some funny shots, it’s a decent dog fighter but it’s better than you think, you can beat most things if you try hard enough. I like to take 30 mins and jet around using my missiles, and not having flares isn’t really that bad since you can just avoid su25s, overall I really like the plane and I get a lot of kills with it

I love flying old planes too, namely the MiG-17 (not the AS) and BR compression at 9.0 is just plain laughable. Still manage to get a 2/1 KD ratio but can't really get higher than that. It either takes u too much time and risks to get more than 2 kills per game (dogfighting) or u just don't a kill because everyone is already dead and you didn't even fire a single shot.

What’s tragic about this plane’s flight model is that in reality it was fairly maneuverable and capable. They were used for red air dissimilar combat exercises and I’ve read that it compared favorably against the F-14, perhaps even better as the F-14 took a higher level skill to get the most out of. The pilot whose testimony I’ve formed my opinion from did say that the F-15 was hard to beat, needing a truly awful pilot to be at a disadvantage.

its a matter of GRB on frogs case , their missiles have good range but scope zoom is literally zero , so they have to get very close to kill something which in 9.7 ground rb means death most of the time

Kind of funny... Gaijin is ruining their game. 10.3 now gets up tiered to 11.3 more times than not now. 11.3 is not fun IMO. 9.3 and up just gets stuffed into Su25 and A10 matches. 9.0 has a high likelyhood of getting some Su25's. 8.0-8.7 is honestly the only fun Jet BR right now and even then it can be dicey with uptiers. Props are still solid. They are self limiting by not expanding the BR's.

Gaijin literally forgot that the su25 and a10 are CAS vehicles from years into the future. They are supposed to be slower, and have worse air to air armament than contemporary jets in exchange for being able to kill a platoon of MBTs in a couple of minutes if not protected by sams/their own fighters. Both su25 and a10 can easily be 11.0 because that's what their role is. They are not ASF and should only get air kills if their opponent is also a cas vehicle or an ASF makes a major mistake. Imagine seeing an IL-10 as a spitfire and thinking"now I have to stay back from this guy, he is dangerous" nobody thinks that, those planes are free kills unless they play smart and wait for the 1st 5 minutes of the game to pass so that half of both teams are dead. It should be the same in top tier.

What makes 0 sense is that the American F-100D has AIM-9Es and is 9.3, yet the French F-100D is ALSO 9.3 but only gets AIM-9Bs, either Gaijin should just give up historical accuracy for the weapons used by the French F-100D and give it non-historical AIM-9Es, or lower the French version to 9.0.

While generally i agree with the Point (The f100d isn't great even at 9.3, compression is a bithc etc etc, i will say, the many planes with high performance, but no flares at this br range can still deal with the Missile boats, especially the A10 so long as you keep your altitude, mantain your speed, on stuff like the Mig19 and even Su7, F3H imo you can simply outperform tem so long as you don't let yourself get third partied. Still not a ideal situation, but imo it's manageble.

I still don't know why the MiG19s isnt 9.3. Yes, the MiG19S might turn better than the F100, but all the talking points you bring up, apply to the MiG19PT / S also (mainly the MiG19S) The MiG19S, doesnt even have missiles... Where the F100, does, and your clips show that you do rely on them. So the MiG19S, is forced to get in gun distance... The Su25 and A-10s, as you said, yea, you literally cant get within 5km of them.. So, the MiG19S, no missiles forced to get in at gun distance, but that is literally a death sentence.

You rephrase the same sentence but without context 2-3 times. You do this alot in your Videos and quit saying idk every 5 seconds. Imo its deserves 9.3 and here is why Fuel consumption is extremly high. 20 Min is barely enugh for a match. Above 1000 it compresses alot and has an avarage rollrate. Acceleration is below avarage so going into hard turns is risky. Climb rate is below avarage. The only thing that saves it is the Aim9-E s which are underestimated by everyone. The dumbest idea would be to use it as a bomber.
