wish there were more 4th gens or other gamemodes, 11.3 ends in 5 minutes or a 1v8 and the worst thing is having a mirage/f14 in a 1v8 makes it super easy for the 1 side.

there was this one game that i had, me and 3 other guys were all in the Kfir C.7 and we all caught up to this F14 and fired about 6 missiles at him. As we were chasing him we managed to lead him into a canyon which we all chased him through and he spammed his flares. We managed to take him out because he spammed his flares and we caught him in a stall

Seguro que llegaras hacerte 7 e incluso 8. Es cuestion de tiempo, pero a demas si juntas a un buen piloto mas tener suerte en una partida normalmente llegas hacer muchas kills. Yo te recomiendo llevar 6 misiles de radar. En esta partida ves que son mas utiles que los phoenixs. Los phoenixs en realista y en estos mapas pequeños no llegan a ser utiles. Alguna kill te haras, pero si quieres llevar la combinacion mas eficiente yo llevaria la mia.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. The guy at 3:35 in the F-4F, Do you think he would have made it if he had fired his flares and banked it left quickly? or did he just set his flares off too early? F14 is gonna be king of top tier until they decompress and add more newer fighters or at least missiles for existing jets. Compared to everything else at 11.3 the tomcat is just superior. Combat flap at almost 600mph. Insane torque climb, the only missile in the game that can be fired independently from TWS mode. It doesn’t have a downside. If you’re smart the one weakness it has with flare protection can be negated outright with fuel management

Great game but I did notice two things that could’ve given you more kills this match, your reliance on missiles has had a noticeable effect on your gun aim, and you should get more familiar with when to use PD and normal SRC, it will help you maintain locks way better when you how when to switch. I’d recommend jumping into custom without missiles for about 30 minutes just to sharpen your gun aim, it makes a night and day difference for me

@@niuniuhhh It’s about becoming a better player not getting max kills. Everyone should strive to better themselves at whatever they do. You never know when newly acquired skills will come in handy. There may come a time where the only way to save a teammate with someone on his 6 is to use guns. It’s ridiculous to say that you should just forget about guns because missiles are better. I still get aces in the F-14 running only Fox-2s and guns. And I’ll tell you, those matches are way more fun and satisfying than just Fox-1ing everything, as much as I love doing that too.

@@GrapeFlavoredAntifreeze While I understand your sentiment, the pilot reliance on missile increased and focus on guns decreased historically in real life around the time of Tomcats. It would make more sense if we had F15 and F16's due to the heavy influence of Fighter Mafia on its design echoing the old guard dogfighting methods of f86 and p51s as for F14, focusing on missiles is way to go. Guns on when it's all you have left and you have no other choice but to fight.

the thing is with the more modern vehicles is when we get passed the cold war era stuff like the late f-14’s with the more powerful engines or the f-15’s the jet’s start slowing down a lot the f-14 and f-15 are faster than the f-22 raptor tho not by much so i guess when we get into the more modern stuff we will get a lot more dogfights and stuff.

We wont get more dogfights as the game in toptier doesnt allow it especially since one or two nations can spam missiles/has far superior missiles while other nations get shafted. If you´d like a balanced toptier then every advantage would bring a disadvantage with it i.e Murica can spam missiles but for that they get reduced number of flares so thei up in lethality is also a down in survivability. I´ve spaded the Mig21bis recently and I am now onto the Mig23M and lets say its a joke fighting F-14´s and Mirages 2000 with 12 countermeasures that often times dont even counter the missiles from them. At the same time when you want to engage you cant get a lock as there is constantly a pile of flares in the air. Sure you get the R-23 but only two of it meanwhile you are fighting multiple flying guided MRLS.
