By ‘HEAT’,I think you referred to HEATFS but anyway,UK,Swedish tanks stuck with AP.Ru 251 and also tanks that fire HEATFS,HESH will be stuck with HE.High tiers won’t be available. For US,its highlights would be the T28,T95,T32 variants,M103 and maybe M48 Patton for having relatively strong armor against APHE. Germany excels at mid tier ranging from Panthers,Pz IV/70,Tiger 2 H.Since advanced munitions are gone and with volumetric shells,hitting the turret as the only weak spot becomes way harder unless the player makes stupid mistakes. For soviets,starting from IS-3 and T-44,both series’s successors will be absolutely invincible (like the IS-6,IS-7,T-10A and M,Obj.269 and the whole T-54,55 variants) unless the player makes stupid mistakes Dual axis stabiliser is the only thing that makes UK line attractive for the mode. The rest of the nations are the same except French tanks maybe used more often in this mode as their APs,on average,have relatively great penetration,velocity and damage. The game mode wouldn’t be fun when everyone flocks to tanks that I’ve highlighted above.Certain nations dominate at certain Br range so no opposition would be stupid enough to have a lineup at an unfavourable Br so a match wouldn’t even start anyway

As a owner of both... Just play the regular Tiger II You are effectively just a Tiger II stuck with almost Maus reload so why even bother. The extra tiny bit of pen doesn't really do anything and the extra explosive filler is also redundant with the really great reload of the long 88 that very often also 1 shots TDLR: 105 Tiger has much slower reload for no real benefits

Don't listen to him, 10,5 cm Tiger is much better, it has 6 crewmen( a lot of survivability), it is faster, and the gun is a lot better, the stats about pen values and filler explosive mass doesn't tell the whole story, the bigger calibre means u can pen a lot of weakspots that u couldn't do with the 88, against heavily armored tanks the 10,5 will perfome a lot better.

Those were good games I agree, but that doesn't change the fact that most of your kills were soft targets or side shots (that jagtiger kill was 1/100 shots) and that top 5 scoring people that were heavy tanks were in a city close combat battle. I wish heavy's were more reliable but you can't do anything against HEAT or some bullshit APDS at lower tiers.

Yeah, heavies become really hard to play after about 6.0, then when you get to like the 7.7-8.3 heavies, they just feel like bigger, slower versions of their MBT counter parts

The one bad thing about Tiger 2 10.5, Panther 2, and Panther F is the rangefinder. It is actually a large weak spot, if you use APHE that is. You see, when any caliber shell hits it, it goes in and detonates. I am speaking from experience. Experience 1: Was in jagdtiger, shot tiger 10.5 in rangefinder (by accident), killed it. Experience 2: Killed in panther f by that weakness

problem with heavies isnt that their armor sucks, its that all the super armored heavies have long ass reloads so when the game decides to give you a ghost shell you're fucked because you have to wait 20-25 seconds. also the problem is you have to play them like mediums and not rely on your armor so that when you do get hit it has a better chance of bouncing, but then all you did was pick a medium tank that has a longer reload, is slower, and usually has less pen

Heavy tanks don't charge the enemy and take all the hits, because if they do that they easily get flanked. Heavy tanks are supposed to snipe from a distance, using the heavy armor to make them invulnerable whilst covering their weakness (mobility) with distance.

There used to be a whole top tier heavy tank meta back in the day and now you only see helis and modern vehicles fighting the maus and other heavies which is sad.
