Remember when in personalized battles we all see f-86 and mig-15 doing dogfight or going at max speed over the map, it was 2013 when i start playing and i thought, one day i'll be there, that day was in 2018 and it was one of my favorite gaming moment, finally get's my f-86 sabre, the first thing i would to do was go in a personalized battles, but there were plane that reached a speed of mach 2 so i realized that my f-86 it was old and slow, in that moment i felt sadness but proud, this game give me a lot of good experience, i have met a lot of good people. This game is on the top of my tier list of game. Today is 25/08/20 and i remember when my father say's " come to see how good this game is", it was january 2013... 7 years ago... Bring me back to the old and good days Thank you War Thunder. Guys i did it, i became a pilot for the italian air force, a dream come true and this game was part of this dream.

depends. in nazi germany the older veterans (30+) didn't even want this war and were following orders just so the SS won't shoot them. the younger soldiers (14-twenty something) were raised by the army and brainwashed for fighting and killing. the funny thing is the veterans fought well while the youngs just died or surrendered all the time.

It would be cool if instead of doing it in a strategic map that you actually have to fly around the world I mean I know it sounds ridiculously crazy but being able to travel the world in a plane,cruiser,or tank would be cool.You can be in the U.S and then you get an objective to go all the way to northern Africa then you have to get on a transport plane or a ship to get there on top of if you're in one of the two there is the chance that the boat you're hitching a ride in can get sunk,maybe your on a amphibious landing craft and you just landed on Normandy or that the plane you parked your vehicle in can get shot into the ground and maybe you survive if the plane was for some reason close to the ground. I'm crazy like this but I personally think that a PS2 type style would fit in.

At that range that is debatable. The 75mm equipped Shermans can cut through the Tigers frontal armor short-medium ranges, if there is a 76mm equipped Shermans in the group it would be able to cut through the Tigers armor at virtually any engagement range. The Tiger doesn't need to be penetrated to be knocked out either, a 75mm AP Shell could take out the optics, tracks, gun barrel, etc, which would likely cause the crew to bail out or force the tank to withdraw. The myth that the Sherman is a bad tank is flat out wrong, quite the opposite actually. It is widely considered to be the best tank of the war, being the perfect combination of speed, mobility, firepower, reliability, and cost.

TheHaos1 Dude Gaijin has been the most community responsive developer I have ever seen. When 1.29 came out everyone complained of how expensive planes were, next patch they were dropped in price immensely. Then when the patch came out overhauling the progression system people complained it would take to long to level up, so next patch immediately dropped the amount of xp you need while buffing the amount you earned. When people complained that "free rp" had to be converted using money and wanted the name changed they did to "convertable" rp. Now when people argued about adding prototype planes to Germany to compete with Korean jets they dropped that idea, for now I hope at least because I want the HG III, and added East and West German Sabres and MiG's that were actually used. Just to appease people who complain...They listen to the community FAR better than any other developer. Sorry for the wall of text too =D

I'm in war thunder since closed beta,and i know what you are saying,most of it may be true but the fact remains that their bad decisions outweigh the good ones.The germans didn't need the canadair sabre and the mig 15....they should have restricted their jets to ww2 and that's that.By the way you would make a great community helper since you praise the game so much.May i remind you that when a hand full of people complained about the night battles they were quick to take them out but when the community exploded in rage after 1.37 and the utter grind that it caused they didn't do anything for a long while telling us that "it's working as intended" The problem with hit detection as well,Senio saying "the game is fine,you need to learn to aim" most Japanese aircraft over performing for since the game came out and only now they are finally fixing them,planes such as the Lightning that are in desperate need of FM fixing yet they are being ignored,under tiering of planes,over tiering of planes,sucky Battle Ratings,drunk Match Maker,russian bombers having much higher payload then they should and bombers such as the b17 not having correct bomb load.Me 163 landing bug since the game came out,never fixed.Italian planes with the worst under performing flight models and their guns to little to no damage...one would say that they are actually repairing the enemy aircraft instead of damaging them,yup...they listen quite a lot.The list is far to long and these were just off the top of my head.Sure they listen....to what they want to,not to what needs fixing

TheHaos1 It is still in Open beta so of course they won't listen too all. They haven't implemented all the fixes yet and they might have to work at one issue at a time and I'm sure that some of the fixes no matter how simple they sound might not actually be that simple.

They have stated that it would be no problem to increase amount of players in a game technically, but that they fear that an individual player would have to little impact on the result. But who knows, maybe we will see it when fleet are implemented

agaronek More players would be interesting, but for the arena modes we have today I think they would not matter much and would make the matches drag for more time. Maybe for the WW mode having more players being able to take part would be more meaningful, but we really dont have much detail regarding how that will play out, if it will be a wot like arena (hope not) or something more alike battleground europe, wich portraits a persistent battleground.
