I guess the drag increasing cause by the flat part tip the gun that not aerodynamic while running y=0.Btw, Better engine,Selecting good material that have great thermal conductivity distribution (allowed increase RoF)and airburst fuse shell wild engineering, this aircraft possibly could be the best ww2 fighter. I think this could be happening if they was really want to conquer Europe.

I've felt like the border reset always seems to favor the chaser, but as with so many things in this game, it's hard to tell if it's a hidden mechanic, a coincidence, or maybe just a gut feeling. I also have a theory that if you club in one single plane too much without changing vehicles, you start to get "balanced" after a while until you play a different plane. If I want so lazy, I'd do a bit of testing.....

I think at low altitude you lose energy. In the past my border resets at high altitude didn't change my energy at all. I highly doubt that, and I don't see how you can get conclusive proof of that anyway.

I've been using the same trick for quite a while then because if you set your throttle to 100% right before it blacks out, it would create momentum the moment your plane gets reset and overall makes you have a shorter time taking off.

Nice to see someone that's able do well in a 262 lol. I like the aircraft, but never did get the hang of it, and with some German teamates? Forget it. I ended up learning the He 162 instead, still iffy teamates, but quite a strong aircraft at its br. My only plane to ever get 7 kills in a match lol.

I think it's fine at 6.3, it's way faster than any prop and goes well with typical German fighters.

I don't think there's any significant weight difference, but the U4 is actually slightly draggier than the others. I think the main difference is that the U4 fights slightly slower enemies on average due to its lower BR.

Adam, if you want to I think it would be interested to compare the stock performance of the 109-k4, it's spaded performance, and the performance of a spaded 109-F4, as I have a theory that a spaded F4 is better than a stock K4.

After binging some of your videos (partly to learn plane tactics, as a tank player), I feel pretty bad for when I was spading/grinding my IL-2s/PE-8 for tank RB (I use the 3.0 IL2 at 7.0 lol), and going after the flashy ground targets. figured “well I’m an attacker. I pound the ground targets right?”. Guess that’s not how it’s done, will definitely be more heavy fighter like with my attackers whenever I stop using IL-2s and grind air again. any tips for an attacker/bomber to be ‘useful’? since that’s all I have because PE-8.FAB and occasional ground RB CAS Aside from becoming a “shoot me!” And being bait. I already do that and put my gunners to work. Sorry for the ramble btw.. anyways great content, The “commentary” is super useful in understanding the moves and decisions that lead up to those perfectly executed kills.

The best thing you can do for your team as an attacker/bomber is to bait or go after enemy planes yourself. But, a fighter will bait better than an attacker/bomber would, and can also defend itself better, so you're better off flying a fighter if you want to be the most useful to your team. Glad it's useful!

keep your speed, most jets are faster than any prop, dont turn with them and the most important thing, wath Adam's videos ;) You'll get use to fly jets. Im curious what is your first jet, i met players who first got the Ho 229, and damn, i dont wanna know what their experiece playing it is :D

keep ur speed, know ur superiority in comparison to other jets, know ur disadvantages, and always look out after your 6, plan and know your skill of shooting as the window is very tiny compared to props, use ur airbrake to stay behind enemies or to make enemies overshoot

@ I was scared of that. Not the best jet. Probably the slowest one. Props will catch you easily in a dive. Keep in mind it is very manuvrable, it can turn with props. Good luck. Also if ever want to start another tech tree, consider USA. F-80-A is extreamly good as a first jet. I wouldnt even start playing the Yak 15p. You better get MIG 9 and MIG 9L, they are considerably better.

Hey Adam, i got an question for you, could you look up the thrust ratios on the after burner capable vehicles at top tier ? I tested it with every aircraft i can test fly and these are the results: around 100-300M altitude stopped when the aircraft started to loose power, an + behind the number means it did stop to accelerate or broke apart but it didnt lose power My test was basicly just flying straight till the aircraft stopped accelerating, i compared the Map browser data with the one in the X-Ray view, for some i went on Alt, according to the stat card. SU-17: X-Ray: 9040Kgf Flight: 13000Kgf At alt: ??? couldnt really test it because it broke apart as soon as i went to the map border since the wings start fully out. The thrust in sources and the like is usually given as static thrust, so no aircraft speed. There would not be much direct information regarding thrust change with speed, the way Gaijin does it is that they know the drag of the aircraft, and then match a thrust curve for the engine as a function of speed to give a top speed equal to the top speed they found in the aircraft manual at different altitudes. Map border resets the wings haha? That's epic.

I mean for example the F-5 just stays at 2000Kgf thrust while beeing in a turn... i can not imagine that this does not lead to a bunch of problems... and the engine manual says it can output 70Kn of thrust... but anyway... my brain hurts XD i kept reading all day long russian manuals... ty in any case.

You need to be going at your top speed at sea level to get near like 2700HP with the F8F.

Oooops low tier non-main country mix-up. I think I confused it with this Hurry Mk.IV. wiki.warthunder.com/Hurricane_Mk_IV The idea was that these 40mm Vickers guns also have the same finnicky aim, if not even worse especially compared to it's normal ordnance, and it may have even less ammo? And the wiki says it only has 2 7.7 backups, been long since I played these. So wanna try to use 40mm Vickers cannons in Air RB as a new challenge and some new eye candy for the channel? Your videos are so fun to watch there is just too little content uploaded. :P

Also people keep saying the Ki-94-II is a bad plane. Can you review it? Something something having only good firepower and nothing else? Also can you do an evaluation of which is the best pound for pound high tier Zero compared to it's own meta in AirRB? A6M5, A6M5 otsu, A6M5 Hei, A6M5 Ko, A6M6c Also could you do a tutorial on how to safely spade a thoroughly unspaded Zero? Primarily concerning the higher tier ones above, but including all would be welcomed. I'm having extreme trouble with playing Zeros.
