Im spreading the word, chat is broken on ps4 while piloting boats. Gaijin had fixed this bug several months back, but with the release of the naval CBT the bug returned. PS4 players can still use chat in planes and tanks, just not boats

I was able to use chat. Granted the auto scrolling when somone says something doesn't work and I have to check the map screen to see updates, but I've been able to chat.

I got 15 kills and 2 planes in 1 life with the Sub Chaser/Fishing boat. The LS and small PT boats cant fight the mid-size auxiliaries in open areas. The LCS and Liechtes are much stronger. I'm thinking the time when Bo got killed by that torp that didn't hit him wasn't a bug. Some torpedoes had proximity detonators. Either a magnetic switch attracted to the hull, or a little ultrasonic microphone listening for a certain frequency meaning the torpedo was very close to something.

I hope when this is finally finished, they will add bailing animations in water. For instance: a B17 making a successful water landing creates some rafts and the crew gets into them. Oooorrr After a pilot lands on the ground after bailing, they run back to base...? Or meet up with friendly forces? Or get captured by enemy forces?

I tried playing this game again after a year of putting it down and my first game was AHHHHH! And filled with vulgarity mostly because 2 enemies would be in the field of view I'd zoom in on one to get a shot off and it would auto aim me to the other target and it would take me to long to readjust onto my original target just to have it focus onto something else... how do you turn that off?????

Realistic? Hardly. Sailing into rocks without grounding or ripping open the hull, sailing into and OVER each other without serious damage (like losing a propeller-a death sentence in battle) and anti aircraft so effectively lethal that if actual WW2 guns and crews were a third that effective the war would have been one of battleships not aircraft carriers. Realistic? Not at all. Entertaining to watch Bo and squad give it a try? Absolutely.
