Hey Adam. Could you please do a tutorial on where and how to aim in air RB? I really really struggle and there are certainly times where I watch your vids in BF109s and FW190s where you always get Crits and Hits right off the bat. I would really appreciate it.

@@seanpurdy8230 it`s just something that is learnt though practice the best thing to do is find a plane you do well with and stick with it....if you change plane and more so nation you`ll have different weapons which have different muzzle velocities \ bullet speed..the lower the bullet speed the more lead is needed... if the speed and angle difference between the two opposing planes is really high speed and bad angle the lead needed can be extreme especially with German 30MM's cannons the MK108's. i`d recommend starting with 50 cal they have great bullet speed, decent damage..and ammo for days. i myself struggle to aim when switching nation

Lelmon E6 the re2005s are not op I've got the p47m my self if you play the strengths of the your aircraft like a yak griffon spitfire or la9 p51 or bearcat they are not hard to deal with and you can toy with them I was able to down re2005s easily today in my p47m and la9 by energy trapping I've got a re2005 it's good but not the best late rank 4 plane

@@leonzandbergen3352 In most battle situations your p47m is always going to be lower than re2005, how are you going to toy with it? I played re2005 when it first came out, I got kd 3 without even trying, just climb straight, not a single spitfire can gain alt advantage against my re2005. If p47 can have their airspawn back, then re2005 will be less of a trouble, but before that happen, the only way you can consistently kill it with p47 is when re2005 gives up its own altitude to chase your teammate at low alt.

Head ons are risky with those cannons in your face, but they just cant keep with that high alt and high speed performance. That double wasp just pulls that plane through the air so easy. The only thing i fear in my P47 is an italian fighter with two braincells, as the germans seem to lose them when you dont lie down and die like they expect

Ta 152H has better altitude performance, but his supercharger's gear changes at around 7km, whereas turbocharger of P47 has optiam altitude at around 7,5km. So at that altitude you had the advantage. But if you climbed to 8,5/9 km, he would.

I think Ta152H got a bit of a power nerf at high altitude. I'd say climb rates would not be equal before 9km.

The P-47M as well as the N does not lose power until at least 10km-I didn't get it above that because fights don't occur up there. The Ta-152H has lost about 400hp by the time you reach that altitude.

As I talked to someone on Drachinifel’s Discord server, the P-47M has a critical altitude in game of 32000ft, at which the turbo tachometer reads 18krpm, and when he tried to use manual control to maintain 72” boost above 32000ft, his engine took damage when the turbo tachometer was between 18krpm and 22krpm. However, P-47N (which has the same turbo) pilot manual clearly states that the turbo rpm limit is 22k. This should be reported to Gaijin. That’s unrelated to the main point of the comment: good video, keep up the good work!

Fun fact: the P-47M was designed to shoot down and counter the 262 and buzz bombs. It didn’t even have underwing racks for carrying Bombs a rockets. P-47N the last P-47 was made from one of the P-47M prototypes.

@@temptemp8190 Nah P47s never have the advantage in a dogfight against Bf109s at usual altitudes. They do have good flaps and can pull for the shot in a BnZ, but not win a sustained turnfight against them.

I've seen tests of d28 vs g6, and it's very hard to fight in the vertical properly in order to win as the g6. In my experience in random battles, even the g2 tends to lose, but that's random battles.

This thing also ground pounds well with the airbrake, you can dive straight down vertical on tanks with the .50cals and be able to pull out easily with enough energy to get right back up for another pass. Obviously only if the enemy is airfield camping or whatnot, and for ground RB.

It's not that fast on the deck, a lot of planes are faster at sea level if you look at the top speed spreadsheet in the description.

As limited as these planes envelopes are I find I do better with them than dog fighters. Probably because their limitations force you to be patient and play to their strengths. You don't have many options in one, but the options you do have are hard to counter. It does the job of high altitude boom and zoom better than a Lightening.

It'll show 00:00 on every aircraft that doesn't have WEP (and a few bugged ones). Try it on a radial US aircraft like the F4U or the P47, you'll see the limited WEP time.

Adam, what are your tips for Re2005 vs F4U-4B in a 1v1? The reversals I use on Bf109K4 doesn't work. 2005 has better turn, better climb, seems to have better MER, I can't get them to g-loc even with aced crew. Only solution is to run, but even then it takes minutes to gain separation. Should I treat it like an A6M5 that you can never beat 1v1?

Yup treat them like Japanese aircraft, run! Re2005 is the slowest prop fighter the F4U4B can face (except for Fw190C), you're 100km/h faster than it at low altitude!

Question: Have you tried flying with a controller, just for fun, like a handicap? Also, have you explained what makes Arcade different from Realistic? It's not hard to feel the difference between the two, but the minute physic difference usually someone wouldn't pick up on. From my experience, Arcade seems to be a hyperbole of the advantages and disadvantages each plane has. So if your plane can climb fast-it will climb REALLY fast in Arcade, but if it turns slow, it'll be extremely slow.

I have actually, I've flown a decent number of matches with a controller in RB with full real controls. It's a big challenge, I became an average player on my team haha. Everything is more effective simply (power, turn, control surfaces).

19:35 Is this still relevant atm? Do you keep those mec values throughout the match or not? I just bought the plane and am curious how to squeeze a bit more performance without too much hassle. Thanks. Edit: As it stands, p47d28 seems a bit better overall, more hp without wep, 1br lower. What am I missing? Except the obvious air brake which made me kiss the ground a couple of times before I noticed it had one xD That problem was never a thing in my other p47's, seems like they were nerfed recently :S

Yeah that's great MEC. Applies anywhere below 7km, above that start reducing mixture. D28 is indeed a better deal for the BR. P47M is a bit lighter than the D28 though.

Awesome video! Could do a video explaining how to determine the correct prop pitch and mixture to use for different planes? I use MEC but typically run ~55% for mixture and 100% for prop pitch unless the plane is extremely bad at overheating

Thanks! It's quite complex. Mixture isn't really modeled in WT, so leaving it at 60% until very high altitude is good for most planes. One big exception are P47s which need around 90% mixture until high altitude. 100% prop pitch is classic.

1. Don't trust stat cards. 2. Ta152s have an airspawn. If you both started on the runway, LF outclimbs them easily.

Might be a dumb question, but how does WEP only last limited time? Can't you just wait for you engine to cool down? I probably don't understand the mechanics of it well engine but I thought WEP was just kinda like an 'overboost' setting for your engine.

On some engines, it requires a substance (water, methanol, or a mix of both) to be able to run the engine at higher power, so when that substance is completely used, the engine can no longer WEP.

Nice one Adam! Got this P47M when it was 50% off. It really good i just feel like the wings snap off from minimal damage way too easily. But its performance other from the roll substitutes these problems. I usually run with AP belts so i was wondering why you took universal?

I see your moves are pretty sharp, I have a little annoying mouse delay when I look around. Have you dealt with this problem , got used to it or is something wrong on my side? I would appriciate it a great deal, since I'd welcome anyhelp to master Niki :) Thx to your vids I realised how useless bombers are, I still fly them (mainly to farm) and enjoy them, but i get extra pleasure for dragging enemy lower for my team. :D And yeh it's annoying when they keep on bombing AF and die for nothing. Does mixture setting applies to high altitude as well?

Thanks! Well there's always a delay because you need to physically move your mouse. N1K1 is on my list! My pleasure! Reduce mixture by 10% every 1km above 6km and you'll be fine.
