Hey guys, got a captured soviet plane for you today that was operated by the Germans, the Yak-1B. A plane that radiates Brilliance and is a force to be reckoned with at its br. And nice flavour in the german tree. Definitely a plane worth getting. Hope you enjoy! :) and have a good evening!

The thing I like about the Yaks is their agility.... often underestimated! Great disintegration of the Spit and the Hurricane in the first game, I must say.

Ooooooh the Yaks! Love those, got my Yak-3 recently and playing through the tree, especially through the Yak-9T, was pretty fun so far. I stick to the tactics on the wiki though. Fly at 80-90% throttle, don't go higher than 3k m, use flaps etc... So it feels kinda weird watching someone play it on higher altitudes. Great footage though, keep'em coming Jengar.

plane functions fine up to about 5k. Didnt notice a terrible drop in performance there. but it is best below 3k, i'll give you that ;)

yeah I rip the wings in dives if I'm not careful over 3k alt. But then again I'm bad at this XP

Hey I enjoy all your videos, and I'm fairly new to WT, but always loved WW2 History especially in aviation and your videos really helps me improve my flying but this is kind of off topic but when your in an defensive flying position and your pressing down on "C" to look behind you in the Camera angle.. how do you manage to still use your ailerons and elevators to pull your defensive maneuvers while your still holding down C button looking behind you? And i notice your reticles are still visible when holding down on C..When i'm in a defensive situation and I'm holding down C looking back trying to maneuver to adjust for the enemies shells I can only use my Rudder keys (Q & E) while holding down 'C', and cant use my mouse to maneuver using (Elevators & Ailerons) unless I let go of 'C' backwards looking camera angle

gotta let go of the c key and 'catch' the camera with the mouse. Then maneuver the plane with the keyboard, and look with the mouse..

Hey Jengar, love your vids, but where do you get these enemies in RB? The 1st guy trying to head-on a Yak 20mm in a Spitfire, I mean really..., then the Hurricane at 1:28 just flies straight until you attack him, the Sea Hurricane at 2:38 just does the mildest of evasive manoeuvres when you're right on top of him, (He seemed to be looking for parking?), the Spit at 3:28, having shown that he could get away in a loop previously, obligingly does a half roll in front of you at the top of the 2nd loop so you can have a clear shot... Man, I rarely see enemies like that! :-)

Hey mate, nice flying and nice plane indeed. Even this cammo is fine to me.. When flying once on my friend´s account which could not find the way to make it work, I have made my ace and just watching his face after the match was pretty rewarding :D Btw I like your "happy trigger" style... ! ;))

Really enjoy flying this one. I enjoy this one and the Yak-3's. For some reason, this feels more like a yak-3 instead of yak-9. It isn't as nimble of course but it has the feeling of the Yak-3's moreso than a yak-9 if that makes any sense.

The issue I have with this plane is it's the same BR as the LA5 in AB. The LA5 seems a bit better at everything.

Never been a fan of this one, just personal taste though. It's effective enough, and easy to fly. Might just be that there are already so many various yaks that I got sick of them early on. Started with the Russian tree way back when, like many others do, so I had my fill.

Apparently you can't. I tried doing Immelman and a loop de loop but nope that results in death so the only thing is to bring that yak back to airbase

My only real question is on how the other German pilots would know if that plane is theres, and I know theres the symbol on the side, but what about AA firing on it if its high alt or if theres a storm and other pilots cant tell the difference.

Soviet BIAS combined with german BIAS what can you ask more for LOL. Nice low tier premium for german line especialy when you get tired of german discipline you must practice with most of their aircrafts

I like how the best German Planes in their tech tree are captured Russian and American planes. Yet people still to this day accuse the german side of clubbing even though the Germans were nerfed to uselessness years ago.
