The mig17 did not carry any guided rockets and i believe niether did the Hunter. Im not 100% sure but if you have a link to something saying over wise i would like to see. (Edit looking now the swiss variant of the hawker carrier them and so did the Singaporean but not the British to my knowledge)

I really want to get the Tempest, but when playing my Typhoon 1b/late 90% of my games look as following: 1. climbclimclimb 2. see a friendly with a bandit on his 6 3. dive to help him, hopefuly kill that guy 4. get swarmed and killed by 109s and 190s because as it turns out everyone got killed in the meantime besides two B-17s 5. repeat

The Typhoon Mk 1a climbs worse than the 1b, but it preforms better at it's br than the mk 1b. Load stealth for the 303s and side climb and bnz.
