Depends how well you perform per match. Without prem I was able to average around 3-4k SL per game in air rb. My tank stats were worse due to the horrid multipliers..

IIRC the Churchill I and VII in WoT weren't too bad, the Black Prince at T7 though... worst gun of the T7 Heavies, slowest top speed, good armor (if the enemy is an idiot or doesn't carry premium)... that's the tank that stopped me grinding Brit Heavies, was looking forward to the Caernarvon and Conqueror too.

@@nogisonoko5409 it's easier than it sounds like to be good at tank battles in WT. yeah you can get one shotted, but you can one shot everyone else too if you're good enough. WT has a way more realistic approach at battles and it takes some time to get used to the different mechanics. Another thing is that the outcome of your encounters is more tied to your skill and partly luck. you can YOLO your way into the enemy team and it may work or not. Unlike WoT where everyone hides behind a rock to safeguard their fucking WN8, in WT everyone goes to the field and ACTUALLY BATTLES WITH THE ENEMY. Yeah, it's harder. But also WAY more challenging, and if you're not satisfied with tank battles you still can try plane and ship battles. These are things that you would know if you played the game, which obviously you haven't done. Or at least that's the idea you're transmitting.

I personally found it hella fun when I switched over from grinding my ass for a panther to having fun in an Su-5-1 , trying different tech trees is a good way to play low yier as it usually just means you can play a whole bunch of new tanks instead of pretty repetetive tanks like the german Panzer 4s or murican Shermans

Arty goes drowns themselves and you get in your team a normal lt, but enemy has a wheeled lt. It's most probable you'll lose, even tho it's not entirely your fault. Also there are accounts that get daily 8-9k WTR (like myself) but me, from the past holds me back, because well, i wasn't a very good player at the start and i don't wanna to restart my whole ass progress only for the stas sake. Anyways, research in WG games is pretty quick, you get through tier 1-3 in almost no time, tier 4 is worse, because it sometimes doesn't have very good aircrafts, so it takes a bit longer to get through - like few hours, but when you get to tier 5 it is pretty fine than, there is a lot of the legendary aircrafts like Spitfire I or Messerschitt BF 109 - and tier 5 is pretty much the most fun tier since it is not hard but not that easy either so you have most of the fun there.

Sadly I started playing WoT when WT didn't even exist... since one or two years when I got interested in real tanks I always wanted to switch over to WT but I don't have the same will to grind and play as I had when I started playing WoT so I never bothered to get to the high tiers so I continued to play WoT just because it takes much less effort (and because I'm still playing with some old friends), although I play it much much much less than what I used to... but I reckon WT is the better games if you like ACTUAL real life tanks. Anyway great video you managed to sum up the two games and the communities very well! And hilarious as usual

@@axeavier surely not one of the best, but I had a pretty good run, now I'm way past my prime in WoT, the fact is you can play it in a very "mechanical" way and achieve decent results anyway (which is what I'm doing now...) you just go around the same places do the same things, you don't have to really put your mind into it after you have some experience... but for WT you always need to be ready constantly scan for enemies etc...

@@federico339 I say both at the same, it's about knowing the map and the capabilities of the vehicles. Like I said, if you had it figured out, you would've been one of the best. Instead you're basically telling me you plateaued in being good but not great. I could say WT is no different because players typically take common paths, and there are sections to take that will often catch them off guard assuming you live long enough to not die from a revenge bombing. If you want the ultimate "you always need to be ready" experience, then you'd be playing GFSB and very few in WT do. As opposed to GFRB which is AB+ with the many arcade mechanics.

Volumetric shells has entirely changed the game. And tbh, what War Thunder does that WoT doesn't is that it allows you to utilise tactics to an extent which approaches a vague microcosmic simulation of actual war. When the Mark 1 Eyeball is all that you have to defend yourself with, as well as three squad mates on discord, you can actually approach something of a simulation of war, though certainly not a true simulation of the operation of the vehicle in Ground Realistic. War Thunder does have a very good simulator mode, if you fancied having a migraine to pass the time. I'd suggest you give it a go, because one of the beautiful things about war thunder, especially after the volumetric shells update, is that the low tier tank play is just the most fun the game has to offer. It's fast paced, low cost, high flying action. And then because war theory, it takes about 7.0 BR to get to the same kind of fast paced action when MBTs finally arrive. But in between there is the plethora of famous tanks you might want to use. But along the way, you'll understand why the Panzer II, the Stuart, the BT--5 and the Crusader were such interesting, if not very effective irl, tanks of war.
