Yeah the sparrow vs the R-27 is such a mis-match it doesn’t even make for a fun BVR experience. It’s still just a missile meta

BWR in F-15 only works if SU-27 players arent paying atantion. If they do. You are dead.

@@batlax18what he’s saying is getting BVR kills in the f15 is basically impossible against an enemy that’s paying attention, while in the su27 it’s a lot easier to get BVR kills

@@1m3agle thats fair, it is really annoying to *HAVE* to go defensive, simply because the R27 is just better than the Sparrow in every way. I was simply stating that while bvring, it is significantly easier to notch an R27 that wvr. I just kind of notch until they get tired of me and I just loop back around because for who knows what reason, they forget I exist. I’m not complaining though, free kills lol

When Fox3s get added it will be a crap show. I guarantee the R-77 will be way better than the AMRAAM. The sparrow under performs massively compared to its stat card. Gaijin sees to it that the US is never on top, and if they are, its not for long.

Dogfight in "furball"? NO WAY! I always avoid it, no matter what I fly, and go after people that are at its edge, or separated completely; don't want to risk to be killed by a greedy team-mate or by an invisible enemy (spotting system issues where sometimes u can't see an enemy from 1.5 km despite u look at that direction, and i'm getting sick of writing "invisibility cheat" reports)!

what I like to do in the f15 when I fly high is whenever I see someone on the deck at 30km or so, I lauft the Aim 7 upwards so it forces the missile to come straight down on them when it reaches them, hitting them even if they are hugging the trees.

we have a F15C that would be the F15J since its a domesticly produced 15C by mitsubishi

@@coletoliver3977 as well the f15C came around a few years AFTER the F15A and the japanise one is one of thsoe early ones. you can see this by the cockpit lacking the MFD etc etc. im asuming ur refering to the later model C eagle

@@The_7th_Army it's so funny how soviet vehicles tend to stay in their tech tree until the next patch where they get exports of them but the us vehicles immediately get superseded by exports because we get early/a models

I've try every alt and tactic and i found that mid alt and go to flank is great, you can stealth kill with AIM-9M and have a great target lock with AIM-7M (I think AIM-7 usually fail because of there too many target (too big RCS) in radar and make AIM-7 fail )

Main advantage of the F-15 is the speed and climb rate so it is possible to do BVR but still incredibly hard against ER

Don't forget the RWR allowing you to identify what the opponents are.

@@GeneralArmchair Oh yea true, NATO Aircraft usually have better RWR and Radar which is very nice. Especially in SIM where info is everything

True, it’s just harder to win bvr in American planes since the aim 7 f and m don’t really compare to the r27er, but a good player in the f15 or f16 will win against an average player, but someone who really knows how to keep pressure on with the 27er has an advantage and will win more often, but there’s still counter play you just need to kill time so your team can hopefully pressure them into losing lock on you, and once you get into a closer fight it becomes more even and more about pilot skill. It’s a better missile but it’s still a radar missile at the end of the day and you can counter it if you’re smart about it

Fly high, PLEASE. The F15’s high speed, high alt performance is phenomenal, some of, if not the best in the game. You’re radar is also incredibly strong, you will get kills with the Sparrow. But please, climb

​@@batlax18 Idk who convinced you that the F-15A that is ingame will have AMRAAMs, we all know it is an F-15A with the known MSIP, but it doesn't have the proper radar to lock with ARH missiles, not to mention they even forgot the MSIPs additional BOL countermeasures for no justified reason. Check General Lee's video "what to expect about AIM-120s", its an argument that i brought back from the plane's release in the forums and its finally going viral because its a fact, they either have to add the F-15C with an accurate radar to use AMRAAMs, or to fix the 15A with its accurate radar, which would even potentially fix most of its issues regarding its underperformance in the BVR department -Sparrows aside-.

@@exhausting_thoughts I’ve been saying that we’ll get the F15C with AMRAAM since the br changes, because for some reason, Gaijin is insistent on getting the F15 wrong. Besides, all my points still stand, the F15’s only problems are the pilot and the radar missiles. Nothing changes, and I’m one of the people who voted for Lee to make the video
