FYI Your Ukrainsk update is 2 days old. South of Ukrainsk a few KM the Russians made a lot of progress today according to the Military Summary Channel. Another few KM south of that even more progress to really tighten up the cauldron.

The Russian military has destroyed a German-made Leopard 2 tank in Russia’s Kursk Region, as Ukraine’s ill-fated attempt to hold on to Russian territory drags on. Video footage shows the tank suffering multiple hits from kamikaze drones. In a video posted to the Northern Wind Telegram channel on Thursday, members of Russia’s North group of forces were seen using multiple first-person-view UAVs to hit a Leopard 2 tank. Northern Wind, which posts a constant stream of footage and updates from the front, described the tank as a Leopard 2A5, which would make it one of the most modern tanks in Ukraine’s arsenal. The first hit caused a massive fire in the tank’s turret, while a second drone appeared to land a glancing blow on the Leopard’s hull. Footage captured by a drone hovering in the distance showed the tank burning uncontrollably after the impacts.

Further south, they managed to penetrate quite deeply into the urban development of the city of Gornyak and consolidated their positions in its north and north-eastern (high-altitude) parts. The UAF, unlike Ukrainsk, is putting up desperate resistance here and does not intend to retreat without fighting. West of Ukrainsk, developing the offensive between Tsukurino and Selidovo, yesterday Russian forces began fighting for the old Selidovskaya mine, which the UAF have turned into a powerful defensive hub. They also generally reached the defensive line in the Tsukurino area, and maybe in the coming days we will hear about battles for this settlement, which is important for enveloping the UAF’s Kurakhovsky Front, as well as the old mine to the south. In fact, these three points are the most important nodes of the last convenient line of defense of Zelensky’s army on the way to Kurakhovo and to the west.

Kiev Regime forces are about 70k in the region with many elite units against roughly 40-47k , about 12k KRF vs. 4k RuaF so very limited fighting Russian forces are taking out the enemy with precision and with Spetsnatz forces among many elite specialized forces who have been border skirmishing for 10 years.
