when ukraine are losing they have to control the flow of information when it was just old USSR vehicles being shown getting 8lownup that was fine once the first NATO/US vehicles started to show up YT said you cant show that and channels started getting 2trikes on them.

Now that Ocheretyne has fallen and the Russians have taken the high ground guess we will see them blooming out to the North, west and south. With the advantage of artillery, drones and air power trenches don't offer much of an obstacle. If Ukraine doesn't have lots of engineers at the Vovche river digging, planting mines and pouring concrete the Russians wont be stopped even there.

My guess is to the West along the railroad. Why walk when you can take the train ;-) Follow the ridge when you have the fire power advantage to advance on a narrow front, which means whereever you want. And infantry likes being King of the Hill, it's good for them.

I think the cage could be mounted on the turret so that the gun remains useful all around. The ability to move in one direction and fire in another is an important feature of the tank concept. It is a crude and ugly prototype. A German would never do it like that.

67th ukraine brigade is corrupting and abandoning positions in fighting with other ukraine. That 115 brigade ran away too. Ukraine army is falling apart

@@ArnoldReinten The Ukrainian soldier has shown extraordinary bravery! It is the responsibility of his officers to understand when the psychological breaking point of his men is near, and retreat in time. And I suppose that was what this Colonel or Brigadare General did! It is if anything a show of strength that the UAF now has learned how to regroup, they've been very bad at that in the past.

If Russia does a flank and envelope those Ukrainian brigades, it looks like 12 that could be what bring this war closer to be over and negotiations. Russia has to deliver a significant attack and if ukraine loses those brigades it may bring Ukraine to the negotiations table

@@jamieharper1051 Don't forget that Zelensky, by presidential decree, made negotiating with Putin illegal until all Ukraine including Crimea is back in Ukraine hands. Zelensky will have to go before there is any change there I think.

Buckling under pressure. Soldiers probably saw fellow soldiers gets surrounded and destroyed. Morale must be low at this point. It will take weeks before Ukraine can stop the momentum.

Prevailing heights in much of Ukrainian battle lines isn’t really prevailing height . Tbh 20-30 meters over a mile of ground is barely a noticeable slope . The terrain is flat and wide open that is what makes this battle what it is and why the army with the most artillery/drones and air and especially manpower . The defensive positions whether they are dug in trenches or strong buildings which can’t be completely destroyed easily are exponentially important over height of terrain as an indicator over who is going to have the advantage. This is why the collapse is happening west of Avdiivka as Ukraine was pushed out of their fortified positions to barely fortified area and smaller towns without the kind of buildings you can use to defend and stay relatively safe from artillery . Artillery alone is able to bust those smaller less deep trenches and small buildings they use to try to get cover. So Russian forces with the massive difference in fire power as well as man power going against the Ukrainian forces in those weak positions have been getting pounded. Knocked back pushed further faster than we have seen in a long time in this battle. Only time they are able to stand ground or low retreat in that area generally west of Avdiivka is when their general kept throwing more meat to the front each day after the original forces holding area is pounded the day before and so on. Which is also why after that had been happening over and over we are now seeing not just military deficiency type of collapse but willingness to obey orders and hold lines type of collapse because they don’t trust the command given to them . They can’t trust what their generals tell them to do because if you’re told over and over hold line you can hold it when it was obvious over and over the line isn’t defendable you see force crushed each day and then you are the ones to be sent there do you think you would follow that order ? No it’s madness and now since that went on so much around first line of defense they tried to make behind Avdiivka this new line they keep trying to hold around berdechi and the area north of that around the tracks the forces had enough and even though that spot was more defendable they didn’t trust it and fell back quickly upon that attack and now it’s causing more of a collapse and less willingness to fight because they realize if they try to hold ground and fight they are just going to take massive amounts of casualties and the men actually fighting not only don’t want to lose their lives they realize the army itself is getting so low in numbers it literally can’t take those type of loses to try to hold insignificant territory in the form of a major city no longer can they worry about whether it’s a tactical advantageous position to hold because they can’t tactically mount any kind of true offenses anyways . They need to fall back to highly fortified positions to even have any shot at holding a line now. Absolute truth is they the government needs to negotiate a surrender and realize it’s over and it’s been over for a while now. You can’t resurrect the dead to come back and fight glue a man together to fight ! This is exactly what I feel like is in the mind of many Ukrainians who are in the field fighting someone else’s war and agenda. They want a normal life back and I can’t blame them they fought courageously they did all they could do but the battle is lost . Before these idiots in power lose their whole country and little bit of the young men population left they need to surrender and quit playing with people’s lives! I highly believe if they were actually on the battle field fighting instead of living it up back in the big cities in western Ukraine which has seen little actual war they would realize how bad situation is and surrender. These people on their high horse don’t feel no empathy for anyone they feel they are above their for it doesn’t matter to them so I see no end in sight . They could care less about slaughtering a whole generation or two of the men of their nation to keep fight along a line they are losing more and more ground at everyday !

Seizing the opportunity, the Russian army’s 30th Motor Rifle Brigade raced several miles along the railroad threading west from Avdiivka and captured most of Ocheretyne-and potentially also Novobakhmutivka, the village south of Ocheretyne.
