One of my favourite games, I remember how I've played it when I was seven years old. But now, when I'm trying to play it today, I see that there is no wonder why Warcraft and Starcraft was much more popular: War Wind has nothing to offer except it's setting and several gameplay concepts. Technically War Wind is worse: unit pathfinding is strange and units completely ignore enemy units until they are attacked directly, allowing enemy to freely destroy my base if I draw my attention anywhere else. And looks like my version is bugged, because some of the fauna units are not spawning (I see dinge vermins in editor, but I never saw them during the game) and heroes doesn't appear in the taverns at all.
